Rod Stewart enjoyed what looked like a wild night out with his wife Penny Lancaster and his two daughters in London on Thursday evening.

The music legend, 79, appeared in high spirits as he was pictured laughing alongside Penny, 52, and his daughters Ruby and Renee after the family enjoyed a night out in Annabel's. Rod walked arm-in-arm with Penny and beamed from ear-to-ear after spending over 4 hours inside the lavish London venue.

The Have You Ever Seen The Rain hitmaker was dressed as flamboyantly as ever sporting a neck scarf, shoes and jacket in his trademark leopard print as well as a pearl necklace with what appeared to be a 4 leaf clover pendant. Rod finished off the quirky ensemble with a pair of leopard print shoes.

Upon leaving the venue, Rod was seen clutching a handful of £20 notes, which he distributed to the door staff as he walked to his white Rolls Royce with Penny.

The rocker smiled for the cameras as he sat into the luxury vehicle alongside Penny, who looked sensational in a bright pink coat. The blonde beauty paired the eye-catching garment with a classic white shift dress underneath and some black heels.

Rod's generous tip towards the staff at Annabel's comes after the singer surprised staff at a five-star hotel with a £10,000 tip, before advising them how to spend it earlier this month.

The generous gesture was made at Gleneagles Hotel in Perthshire, where he celebrated Celtic's victory over Rangers with his wife and two sons. Sir Rod, who has topped the UK charts six times, visited his local NHS hospital in Essex last year to personally pay for patients' scans to help reduce waiting lists.

The singer and his family were actually living it up in a five-star hotel in Scotland - enjoying their "first ever #hogmanay" and embracing their Scottish heritage. Former model Penny Lancaster shared a snap of her family in the Aucherarder hotel’s American Bar on Instagram with her 190,000 followers, tagging her family in the sweet snap.

Taking to Instagram again on New Year's Day, Penny shared further snaps of how she and her loved ones rang in 2024 - with Rod and his two sons Alastair and Aiden rocking kilts as they celebrated a new year in Scottish style.

After celebrating his beloved football team Celtic’s 2-1 win over Rangers, Rod, Penny and their 18-year-old son Alistair were spotted enjoying their break at the hotel in Perthshire. Before leaving, Rod left a more than generous tip of £10,000 for the hotel staff - before telling them how to spend the dosh. The singing legend urged them to them to bet it on Scotland taking home the trophy in the Euros 2024.

In another act of kindness in recent years, the rock star gifted £5,000 to a student nurse in the NHS who had fallen on hard times after contracting Covid-19 and having to pause her nursing career.

Natasha Jenkins spent 22 days on a ventilator and was given a cheque from the Maggie May singer when she returned home. She expressed her surprise and gratitude, saying: "I'm doing really good now.

"When I saw what Rod Stewart had sent me I was absolutely gobsmacked. It was a really, really lovely kind thing for him to do. I was gobsmacked with the cheque. I've joined a gym which is helping me physically and mentally and life is really good at the minute."

The generous star also found a £500,000 townhouse for a family fleeing war-torn Ukraine, promising to cover their rent and bills for at least a year.

Despite his generosity now, Sir Rod admitted that in his early days he used to refill his children's fizzy drink bottles to save money and was even accused of charging his old girlfriends rent.

He told Esquire in 2013: "My father, being a Scotsman, taught me to look after finances. I'm shrewd. Some people may call me tight. My old pal Ronnie Wood loves making jokes about it. "Tight as two coats of paint," he calls me. Tight as two coats of paint."
