Vanessa Feltz's mutter after bumping into ex Ben with new girlfriend
Vanessa Feltz was forced to endure an awkward run-in with her ex-partner Ben Ofodeu and his new girlfriend.
On Thursday, the This Morning regular contributor arrived at a glitzy London event only to realise that her ex was already there. The Feel Good singer and his new girlfriend Precious Muir arrived at the special performance of Back To The Future in the West End together before Vanessa turned up two minutes later.
When someone told her Ben was there she reportedly looked and saw him before muttering: "Oh no, oh no." Vanessa and Ben were engaged for 16 years before she discovered a web of lies as he found himself at the centre of a cheating scandal.
The onlooker told the Daily Star: "Ben arrived with Precious and they looked every inch the happy couple. They posed together for photos and looked really happy together. When Vanessa arrived and saw Ben she looked like she’d seen a ghost. She looked really fed up about it."
Broadcaster Vanessa was rocked last year when her ex-fiancé's flings were made public. She has been open with her fans about the devastation she faced and trying to move forward with her life.
Escape to the Chateau's Dick and Angel give exciting news as fans beg for returnShe told Daily Mail: "There was such a complicated and convoluted tapestry of lies. I have no idea what really happened. That’s the truth. So it’s over. I can’t bear to hear you utter his name."
Precious has been spotted with Ben at a number of star-studded events over the past few months. Precious, who appeared on Channel 4's The Great Sex Experiment, told Daily Mail last year: "Yes we enjoy spending time together. We haven’t put any labels on it but yes we spend time together and will continue to spend time together."
Last year, Vanessa told the Mirror she was "not comfortable" being single ahead of her stint on Celebs Go Dating. "I'm not someone who is comfortable with being single, I don't like it. People who like it, that's great but, I don't like it."
Vanessa previously opened up on This Morning about the difficulty of dating again following the breakdown of her relationship. She said: "I think dating is damn difficult. I've not done it for 17 years.
"I wouldn't sit here and pretend it's a breeze and a blast. When it's not going well it's like wading through treacle. But when you meet someone it can be easy it can be bliss. It can be great. It's just a numbers game isn't it... I have been a rotton picker, I haven't been good at picking. I thought the agents must be able to do better than I can, they can't do any worse."
