PJ and Duncan are officially back once again with a brand new music video.

The characters, played by presenting duo Anthony McPartlin and Declan Donnelly, have made a comeback for their track titled Eternal Love that was released 30 years ago. Ant and Dec met each other on the set of the ITV children's programme Byker Grove in 1989 aged 12 and have enjoyed glorious television careers ever since.

They played PJ and Duncan until 1993 and in their final series the two characters formed a band and signed a record deal. On leaving the show they signed one for real and released the successful debut album, Psyche, still under their Byker Grove pseudonyms. Hits from the recording, which sold over 300,000 copies in the UK, included Let's Get Ready to Rhumble, If I Give You My Number and Eternal Love.

Ant and Dec have now reprised their characters to make a video for Eternal Love. The duo have ditched their nineties attire for a beach look as it is filmed in an exotic location. Ant wore a black and white striped shirt and black shorts for the clip while Dec donned a blue shirt and beige shorts.

In the hilarious video, the I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! hosts switched into Hawaiian shirts as they played on a sandy beach and posed in front of a helicopter. They blew kisses to the camera and in true 90s style, love hearts were projected onto the screen. Alongside the video posted on their X - formerly Twitter - account, they wrote: "It’s finally here. The video you’ve not been waiting for…"

Fans loved the comeback as one said: "Not me getting my psyche album out to play on repeat." Another added: "LETS GET ETERNAL LOVE TO NUMBER ONE!" Someone else commented: "40 years old and still knew ever word to this song." A fourth wrote: "Right lads, so where do I sign the ‘Eternal Love for number 1’ petition?"

A fan added: "Yes!! Such an underrated song. Where’s the extended version of the video though?," as another quipped: "The boys are back!" Their hit Let's Get Ready To Rhumble was given a second lease of life in 2013, reaching the number one spot in the UK singles chart after the pair performed it on their hit show, Ant and Dec's Saturday Night Takeaway.

In 2022 they reprised the iconic characters once more for an advertising campaign worth £2 million. Dressed in trademark '90s baggy attire, the stars were spotted riding branded bikes in west London for a Santander advert. They also wore baseball caps and matching backpacks typical of the time.

As the middle-aged PJ & Duncan dance for a classroom of kids in the Santander ad, Dec says: “There’s no better place to start learning about how to handle your finances than at school.” The Geordie duo have been a key part of the bank's television advertisements for the past few years.
