Eden Hazard has reunited with Charlie Morgan, a ball boy he infamously kicked back in 2013 during a League Cup tie between Chelsea and Swansea City.

The Welsh side beat the Blues in the semi-final of the tournament and, with Chelsea chasing the game, Hazard's frustration got the better of him and he kicked the ball boy, who was looking to waste time by holding onto the ball. The Belgian was subsequently given a red card and handed a ban.

In the aftermath of the incident Hazard said: “The ballboy came in the changing room and we had a quick chat. I apologised and the boy apologised as well, and it is over. Sorry.” Since then the young ball boy has been on quite the journey, amassing huge wealth.

Morgan set up his own business with a friend as they looked to create a premium vodka brand. AU Vodka, is now stocked in the likes of Selfridges, Harvey Nichols, Tesco, Costco, Sainsbury's and Asda. Au is also available in 40 countries across the globe.

The drink is popular with some of sport's biggest names - the likes Floyd Mayweather, Ronaldinho, Paddy Pimblett and Jake Paul all posing with bottles in the past. As a result Morgan has now amassed him a personal fortune on £55million, according to The Sunday Times Young Rich List last year.

That meant he was joint-27th on the list - above the likes of England star Harry Kane. Morgan has since met back up with Hazard with the Belgian posting on Twitter: "A nice thing about retirement is catching up with old friends. You have come a long in way in 11 years my friend."

Back in 2022, Morgan told Wales Online : “The coming year, our focus is really on smashing into the American market. We have recently launched our E-commerce platform covering 31 states across the US so customers are already able to get our products delivered straight to their door.

“Having had over 28,000 sign-ups to the USA website prior to launch we’re expecting that there will be a huge interest in Au Vodka within the states.”

He added: “The vision is for Au Vodka to become a truly global brand, known in an instant for its unique gold branding and coloured liquids, we see the bottles being stocked on shelves internationally and becoming accessible for customers in every corner of the world. We also want to ensure we continue to dominate the UK Vodka market, keeping a tight grip on where we started to ensure the brand is true to its roots, there’s always room for more growth everywhere.”
