Emmerdale fans divided over Aaron Dingle after Danny Miller issues plea
Emmerdale fans have been left divided over Aaron Dingle, played by Danny Miller.
Aaron made a return to the Dales a few months back, but with what's happened in that time away, Aaron has become quite a tricky character, always getting on the wrong side of all the Dingles including mum Chas and also uncle Cain Dingle.
However, tonight, he made a plan to target Cain and become the 'head' of the Dingle family - but fans have left been divided by Aaron's return, with some describing it as "annoying" and begged for Aaron to change.
One wrote: "Am still waiting for Aaron to switch back to likeable Aaron , I hope its soon, cause it is really annoying seeing him acting pathetic with a chip on his shoulder all the time. #emmerdale," whilst a second added: "Wish Aaron would go back to they way he was #Emmerdale." A third shared: "I ask myself this every week: what was the point of bringing #Aaron back into #Emmerdale," with a fourth adding: "I really, really hate what they’ve done to Aaron #Emmerdale."
However, others heaped praise on Danny for his portrayal of Aaron. One wrote: "Danny playing Aaron, best actor on the show, easily! Although it hurts to see our boy like that. Of course, it‘s gonna get worse and worse. #emmerdale," whilst another shared: "Aaron's scenes tonight made me sad, but what a masterclass from Danny Miller #Emmerdale."
EastEnders' Jake Wood's snap of son has fans pointing out the pair's likenessSpeaking about his return as Aaron, Danny said: "He has lost the plot entirely. He's very selfish, angry, maybe slightly depressed in a way I guess from everything that's happened. And he's not dealt with the grief very well. So the state of mind is that he's just angry at everybody, and just constantly wanting a fight. Hopefully the audience, as amazing as they've always been with with Aaron, will see the self-destruct and self loathing part of it as opposed to him just doing it for no reason.
"He is very, very nasty to a lot of characters and says stuff that looks almost like he's thought about it. There's no remorse which kind of adds to that sort of darker side to him. He's got so much hatred for so many people. He didn't have that chance to grieve with everybody, he was almost hauled off by Chas and told to go in the nicest way possible so that she could keep her secret."
