Newcastle stages a seven-race card on Thursday evening with Newsboy's Nap, Urban Dandy, running in the 6.15

URBAN DANDY is fancied to stage a return to winning form in the Find More Big Deals At BetUK Handicap (6.15) at Newcastle this evening.

Tony Coyle’s son of Dandy Man has missed the target on his first eight attempts.

But Urban Dandy got within half a length of a third career triumph when second to King Of The Jungle over course and distance nine days ago, just getting the rose of his duel with the winner on the run to the line.

My selection was wearing blinkers on that occasion and, if the headgear retains its galvanising properties, Urban Dandy is handicapped to score on a British Horseracing Authority mark of 57 – exactly the same rating from which he came home in front over course and distance last March.

An hour later at Gosforth Park, SIBYL CHARM has plenty going for her as she takes on nine opponents for the Find More Big Deals At BetUK Handicap (7.15).
