Months after its release - and people still can't stop talking about Saltburn.

Directed by Emerald Fennell, the psychological thriller follows Oxford student Oliver (Barry Keoghan) who forms an unlikely friendship with the popular rich kid Felix (Jacob Elordi). But, an innocent invitation to his family's eponymous estate quickly spirals into deadly chaos.

Inspired by Evelyn Waugh's Brideshead Revisited, the film has received a slew of praise and criticism for its depiction of the UK's middle and upper classes - and has left viewers gobsmacked at its explicitly jaw-dropping scenes (glass of bathwater, anyone?)

However, the movie - which also stars the acclaimed Rosamund Pike and Richard E. Grant - has caused an issue for a pair of expecting parents.

Taking to Reddit, an anonymous mother explained how she found out the sex of her baby at the end of July - and she is due to give birth next month. "We quite quickly decided on the name Felix, which we felt matched our first son's name well, Casper," she said.

"A few weeks later we chose the middle name River. We’re both researchers and my husband does fieldwork in rivers often and has Scandinavian heritage."

Despite calling their unborn son 'Felix River' for the last six months, the couple recently sat down to watch Saltburn and were left in dismay after realising it's the same name as one of the protagonists. The parents described the revelation as an 'awful coincidence' and are now having second thoughts.

"Given the nature of the movie we are torn," the post reads. "Will my son forever be associated with this movie? Even though it’s popular right now, will it be forgotten about soon?"

Hundreds of users took to the comments section to share their thoughts - with many arguing the movie will be forgotten about in due course. "Me and my partner watched it three or four days ago and I still don’t remember his middle name being mentioned in the film, even with you saying it. I think you’ll be totally fine!" one person wrote.

Another commented: "I just watched Saltburn (loved it) and I already forget every single one of their names. I think it's fine!" While a third added: "I've never heard of the movie. Unless you're naming him Harry Potter I don't think it'll be an issue."
