The wife of a millionaire caused £50k worth of damage to a brand new Ferrari when it got stuck in electric gates.

Moniqe Fiddes had been given the flash £320k yellow Ferrari Spider F8 by her husband, Matt Fiddes, a self-defence expert and ex-bodyguard for Michael Jackson, as a belated Christmas present. Mrs Fiddes was trapped inside the swanky car for hours after their gate malfunctioned during Storm Isha. Mr Fiddes had to call out an electrician in a bid to free his wife and the car.

He later took to social media and shared an image with the caption: ''Stay safe everyone with storm #isha! Our electric gates cut out and smashed my wife's Xmas present - her new #ferrari. She got trapped for a few hours while we forced the gates open! Probably £50k plus damage but it just shows you how material things don't matter and I'm just glad she's safe . Big thank you to #berryelectrical for coming out so quick and rescuing my beloved Wife! Stay safe! Watch out for fallen trees, power cuts etc. Matt.''

The flashy present is the latest addition to Mrs. Fiddes' growing collection of supercars that reportedly totals £600k. The couple reside in Devon where Mr. Fiddes runs his self-defence business and property portfolio. He said of his wife: "Moniqe deserves it - she's got to put up with me and my mad world." "It's true that behind every successful man there is a hard working woman, and behind the scenes my wife has to support me running our companies and our growing property portfolio!"

"Taking phone calls and working through the night - as well as being a amazing mother to all my six children! The last Ferrari I bought for her to celebrate our 11th wedding anniversary - so I have spent £600k in supercar's for my wife within eight months and a brand new V class £77k Mercedes as a family car." Matt started his martial arts business with only £100, and now it's worth a whopping £120 million.
