Influencer Small Spartan Jay needed an oxygen mask after being brutally knocked out cold at Misfits Boxing 12 in Leeds.

Jay, whose real name is Jonah Joseph Chris, was taking on fellow influencer boxer Fox Townley at the First Direct Arena on Saturday night. Jay had already boxed for Misfits as he won his promotional debut last year whilst Townley came into the fight with amateur boxing experience.

Townley had a considerable size advantage in the fight and he dropped Jay in the opening round with a well-placed left hook. Jay showed good heart and was able to get back to his feet but just moments later, Townley landed an uppercut followed by a left hook that rendered Jay unconscious.

The influencer boxer appeared to having spasms on the canvas before he was put on oxygen whilst Townley was celebrating his win. Fans were quick to spot that Jay was in a bad way as one comment read: “Oh my good, the guy he knocked out got given an oxygen mask.” A second user added: “Wow Jay started twitching on the floor after he got knocked out.” A final user spotted that Townley’s coach toned down their celebrations because of Jay’s condition as the comment read: “That is a class act from Fox’s coach for real.”

Townley said of his knockout win: "That was quick! I'm too fast for my own liking. I feel good. In this camp the most thing I worked on was my mindset because with me honestly, I'm an anxious a** person." Elsewhere on the Misfits Boxing 12 card, Ed Matthews was knocked out of the ring by mystery opponent Luis Pineda in the headling act.

Elle Brooke knocked out AJ Bunker in their rematch to win the women's middleweight belt. X Factor winner Ashley Tebi fought to a split draw with OJ Rose whilst there were first round knockout wins for Tristan Hamm who beat ‘Not Logan Paul’ and Fox Townley who beat Small Spartan Jay.

Irish TikTok boxer Ben Williams won a one-sided decision against Fes Batista whilst Chase DeMoor picked up his first boxing win by beating Malcolm Minikon. Tebi’s childhood friend and fellow Rak-Su member Myles Stephenson lost to DTG whilst Most Wanted was stopped by Joey Knight in the first fight of the night.
