Katie Price says she's been visited by a ghost again as she struggles to shift her Mucky Mansion after putting off would-be renters with spooky stories.

The 45-year-old put her eight-bedroom home on the market last year with the former glamour model asking for a whopping £6,000 per month from potential tenants. She has been unable to find anyone to take a punt and part of the reason is that she openly admits to concerns that the West Sussex pad is haunted.

She has been offering up chilling "proof" that the spirit of a small child roams the building and says there's a room young son Jett refuses to sleep in. Last year she shared some spooky snaps from her home, which she claimed showed a ghost in the background with a 'grey lady' also living upstairs. But now the star says she's had a visit herself and it left her terrified - and even more keen to get out.

The mum-of-five doesn't appear too bothered that speaking about the phantom problems could scupper her exit plan and said on the Katie Price Show podcast that the ghost has returned and she doesn't know what to do. "I've had an experience and it's never happened to me before," she said after recalling what she says is her first actual encounter with the paranormal.

"I'm in bed, Bunny is next to me asleep. Jett was at the end of the bed, asleep. I was really hot in the night so I tool my socks off. Later, I felt something tapping my feet - proper tapping my feet really hard. Then I heard 'mum mum' - it sounded like Jett. I said 'Jett, what?' I sat up in my bed, looked at the kids but they are both fast asleep. I was too scared to look over the end of the bed."

She appears desperate to depart but although the Mucky Mansion boasts many lavish features since its renovation, including equestrian facilities, acres of land and huge rooms, it seems like issues like a mouldy bathroom and of course the ghostly guests is still putting prospective residents off.

An insider revealed to the Mirror in October that the listing hasn't "even had a nibble" and explained: "Katie is actively looking to move out and rent something new and modern. She hates the Mucky Mansion – often referring to it as the House of Horrors! She claims she cannot sleep alone there as it's haunted by the 'grey lady' on the top floor – not a great sell for prospective renters."

Katie admitted her famous house was "definitely haunted" in 2021, when she opened up about spooky happenings in her Mucky Mansion manor on The Fellas podcast. The former Channel 4 star confessed: "It's definitely haunted. I took a picture of a little boy sitting on my top floor.

"I've got pictures of a guy going through the mirror. I videoed it all. And me talking to a candle flame and it responding. I'm telling you. My whole life is nuts. I've had my friends in tears when I've brought up stuff about them that I didn't know by talking to the candle." Katie purchased the West Sussex home at the peak of her success in 2014 for £1.3million but years of neglect, floods and cash flow problems saw it fall into disarray – with Katie at one point moving into rented accommodation before the Mucky Mansion got a glamorous makeover.

At Home Estate and Letting Agency describes the Mucky Mansion as "a substantial family home with extensive accommodation over 3 floors, with an adjacent annex and optional equestrian facilities available to let." The listing, which is asking for £6,000 per calendar month in rent, goes on to boast that the "arts and crafts home utilities oak joinery throughout, with beams, timbers and leaded light windows."
