Love Island's Arabella Chi dumped by Manchester City ace before villa return

Love Island star Arabella Chi had her heart broken by Manchester City star Ruben Dias just weeks before landing in South Africa for the All-Stars series.

Last night's episode ended on an explosive cliffhanger, with the series five contestant being announced as a new bombshell. The 32-year-old model looks ready to shake things up in the villa after the Islanders experienced their first recoupling of the series. The blonde beauty, a familiar face to some contestants, will no doubt turn heads on her arrival.

It comes after viewers saw the Islanders take part in a pre-loved punk party. However, the party was short-lived as the boys received an explosive text in the villa, saying they had been invited to Arabella's afterparty at the hideaway terrace.

Arabella was unlucky in love during her first stint on Love Island when she built a connection with Danny Williams before being booted off the show. Danny had left his love interest Yewande to be with her and struck up a romance with fellow contestant Jourdan after parting ways with Arabella.

It appears the 32-year-old model is taking another stab at romance despite recently coming out of a relationship. The reality star had been dating the Portuguese footballer since September and were last spotted together on New Year's Eve before going their separate ways.

The couple had kept their romance a secret and had been spending as much time together during their relationship. In November, a source told The Sun: "Rúben and Arabella have been quietly dating for the past month. She has visited him in Manchester and their dates have been all under the radar.

"They went to Paris for their first romantic mini-break in the week, where he wined and dined her at all the best restaurants'. Rúben and Arabella are trying to keep their relationship under wraps because it’s early days. But they had the best time together in Paris and seem to be really falling for each other."

It was later reported that Ruben had 'dumped' Arabella soon after the couple landed back in the UK from their holiday. Now completely single, Arabelle admitted she is hoping to find the man of her dreams. At the end of Friday's episode, Arabella shared: "I've been fortunate enough to be able to hang out in Hollywood circles but I still have not found love. I might have recently of come out of a relationship but I'm ready to meet the man of my dreams so get me back in that villa!"

The former Love Island star was previously spotted hanging out with Leonardo DiCaprio's pal Richie Akiva while enjoying a lavish trip to Ibiza and partying on a private yacht. The couple reportedly dated before calling it quits in September.

The shocking news of Arabella's arrival has left the girls in the villa left feeling concerned. Speaking out about her feelings, Gerogia Harrison said: "I know Arabella, none of us are safe, absolutely not!" It appears circumstances won't be as smooth for some of the Islanders as the new face will likely steal one of the guys, who are already in a couple.
