Chloe Madeley says James Haskell is moving out of family home after tough split

Chloe Madeley has revealed that her husband James Haskell is moving out of their family home in a number of weeks following their split, despite the pair now being 'best friends' and 'better than ever'.

The TV personality's marriage to the former rugby star 38, crumbled in September but after they went their separate ways the pair, who tied the knot in 2018, reunited for Christmas. Chloe, daughter of broadcaster Richard Madeley, insists the two still co-parent "really well" and and feel comfortable with the situation.

Neither of them have yet moved out just yet - and despite the obvious awkwardness, there's positives to the situation. Appearing on Friday's instalment of Loose Women, Chloe opened up about the difficult few months she has endured but said spending the festive period together was wonderful for their daughter Bodhi.

"I've got my space and he's got his space and he'll come back a few nights a week and see Bodhi. He'll be hands-on dad and I'll sleep and then two days later off he goes - perfect. But I think he should be moving out in the next few weeks," Chloe said.

"It's all for Bodhi, it's not about James. He's got this new place and I'm going to move in for a week with Bodhi so she can settle in and know the environment and understand that she's safe and we're all there for her."

Chloe was recently forced deny she is having another baby after a brazen social media user asked her if she was pregnant. The 36-year-old could have done without an Instagram user asking her if she was expecting again. The pair were enjoying a meal out at swanky London restaurant The Delauna and she posted a festive snap kissing the tot by a tree.

But one follower asked: "Chloe you tummy is telling us something or am I imagining it." Stunned Chloe refused to let the comment slide, replying: "Oh dear. They're dungarees and I'm supporting my baby girl, come on babe, check yourself." But she politely added: "Merry Christmas to you and yours."

Despite the split, the former couple remain on good terms and also hope to continue filming their reality TV show, Chloe Madeley: A Family Affair. "We're all spending Christmas together, and James will be there," she told Heat. "We've also pitched [a second series of A Family Affair] and are waiting to hear."

The two called it quits earlier this year after five years of marriage, in a statement they said: "Our sole focus now is our beautiful daughter. We shall continue to co-parent with nothing but love." It comes after the two put on a united front as they reunited for a family dinner only last month. James shared a selfie with Chloe and Bodhi at the dinner.

Things seem to be better between them despite James taking aim at his estranged wife as he appeared on stage to broadcast the final leg of his World Cup Afterparty: The Good, The Bad and The Ugly rugby podcast tour. Joined by co-hosts Mike Tindall and Alex Payne, 38-year-old James told fans in Bath his ex was "unreasonable, overly critical and insensitive, and unfair in arguments".
