'I was abducted by aliens as a teenager - I still have reoccurring nightmares'

A woman has shared a chilling tale about her mum being "abducted" by aliens when she was a teenager. She revealed her mum and her friend Lisa saw a "bright light in the sky" while hanging out on a roof, and then three hours mysteriously passed.

She said: "Next thing they know, the light is gone. The thing is, they think they've been on the roof for like 15 minutes, but something like three hours passed." Her mum couldn't remember what happened during that time, and Lisa refused to talk about it.

After losing touch for about 10 years, her mum met up with Lisa again and noticed she seemed very 'distant'. The woman added on Reddit: "Lisa [had a] very 'dreamy' demeanor. Like she was really happy and at peace, for no good reason. After they talk for a bit, Lisa brings up the incident on the roof. Mum says she still doesn't really remember anything about it.

"But Lisa remembers. She remembers everything. She said that at first, it was all in bits and pieces and she couldn't remember any of it clearly. She was confused and scared and wanted to avoid discussing it. Then, as time passed, she began to remember more of it."

Lisa claims to "clearly remember" being abducted another three times - and building a "friendly" relationship with the aliens. Every time she meets up with Lisa, she tells her mum she will one day "come to understand the truth" - but her mum usually shakes off these types of comments.

She said: "When mum asks what 'the truth' is, Lisa just says that 'you will know eventually', and she says that once she learned of 'the truth', then 'everything became wonderful'. mum has seen her a few more times over the years (we still live in another State from her), and she apparently has a pretty normal life, and doesn't like, obsess over alien stuff (like some supposed alien abductees do), she only ever brings it up in passing, not like it's a central part of her daily life."

Commenting on her post, one user said: "I'm always curious about this knowledge about space and history that the aliens tell them about..." Another user added: "So Lisa suddenly remembers everything after she becomes 'spacey' and 'dreamy'? I always bull**** people when I'm high." A third user said: "I want to know the truth..."
