Katie Price was handed a £398 fine after being caught speeding just months after her ban for drink-driving came to an end.

The 45-year old was disqualified from driving and handed a 16-month prison sentence suspended for a year in December 2021, after flipping her car whilst over the limit. Mother-of-five Katie was penalised further, meanwhile, by being ordered off the road for two years.

A court heard that after the incident - which occurred near her Sussex home at 6:20am on September 28 that year - former glamour model Katie had been hospitalised following a breath test and a positive drugs wipe reading for cocaine. Now, she is back on the road and back in trouble with the law after exceeding a 70mph speed limit on a dual carriage way in Gloucestershire on July 13.

Katie had been driving on a stretch of the A417, around 18 miles away from her son Harvey's National Star College in Cheltenham after her ban had been cut by 24 weeks due to her attendance at a drink-drive reduction course. The misdemenaour also saw her earn three penalty points, whilst her fine included £220 for the offence and an £88 victim surcharge.

Eight days later the OnlyFans star was also convicted of driving a motor vehicle otherwise than in accordance with a licence, according to the Sun. A court charge sheet stated Katie was "the holder of an expired substantive driving licence" when cops seized her Range Rover in West Sussex.

A statement from Sussex Police read at the time: "Officers responded to a report of a motorist driving otherwise than in accordance with a licence and driving without insurance at Sompting Road roundabout, Worthing, shortly before 6pm on Friday, July 21. A 45-year-old woman was spoken to, and a Range Rover was seized under Section 165(a) of the Road Traffic Act."

Earlier this week images showed bailiffs gathering at Katie's property - dubbed Mucky Mansion. She was first declared bankrupt in 2019 - and has gone on to face legal and financial issues since. Katie was was believed to be in Dublin at the time of the visit on her Makeup Masterclass tour. Her home is believed to be valued at £1.3 million.

Part of her strife includes a dispute with ex-husband Alex Reid, 48 - who was married to Katie from 2010 until 2011. He maintains she owes him £250,000 in compensation, with reports suggesting Katie still owes him the money despite a court order to make the payment four years ago.

Before authorities turned up at her home, Katie shared a clip of herself being interviewed by former Made In Chelsea star Jamie Laing who was quizzing her about her love life. He asked: “Have you been in love?" And she immediately responded: "Do you know, this is the trouble, and even in therapy I’ve realised men are my destroyer in life. It’s true though."
