Kyle Walker's wife Annie Kilner remained strong as she stepped out for the first time since a new war of words was ignited.

The mum-of-three has kept a low profile recently after she announced that she and Manchester City defender Kyle Walker had separated and were spending time apart. Annie, 30, confirmed the news last week after Kyle's extramarital affairs came to light following encounters with Lauryn Goodman.

Former The Only Way Is Essex star Lauryn claimed to have had a relationship with Walker, 33, behind Annie's back – which a friend of the England star has since disputed. But Annie appears to be remaining headstrong and is putting the drama to the back of her mind to focus on her family.

Sheffield-born Annie stepped out with her adorable cockapoo puppy as they made their way to a vet's surgery in Cheshire, where she and Kyle's children live. The model opted for a casual look as she braved the plunging temperatures and snow for her outing.

Annie shunned make-up and showcased her natural beauty and killer cheekbones as she walked down the street in the leafy county. Her glossy raven locks were straightened and she rocked a black cap. The star, who we revealed earlier this week is expecting her fourth child with Kyle, slipped into an oversized black puffer jacket to protect her from the cold and the coat also discreetly covered her blossoming bump. Her wedding ring has since been removed from her finger but she did display her "K" commitment tattoo dedicated to Kyle.

Annie completed her look with black leggings and white trainers and cradled her four-legged friend in her arms. She was seen planting a kiss on the forehead of her golden puppy before heading into the surgery. Her outing comes just hours after a friend of Kyle claimed to the Mirror that he never had a relationship with Lauryn, the mother of two of his children.

Lauryn alleged that she and Kyle, whom she shares a son Kairo, three, with and a six-month-old daughter, had a secret relationship while he was living a double life. She also claimed that the pair enjoyed secret days out as a family after growing close during legal meetings.

A friend of the footballer denied this and insisted their encounters were nothing more than "quick" and she "meant nothing" to him. A friend said: "Kyle is very much in the wrong with his ­escapades but there was no proper ­relationship with Lauryn. It was effectively just a very, very quick fleeting thing while he was in the area. Yes, things hap­­pened a few times but there were no ­feelings, and cert­­ainly no romance."

This, however, angered those close to Lauryn who were quick to hit out and responded by saying: "Kyle was very much a willing, enthusiastic participant. He told her all sorts of sweet nothings and treated her like a princess." Annie has not commented but was seen earlier this week reuniting with Kyle, albeit briefly as she dropped their son, Roman, 12, off before he and Kyle headed to a glitzy football event in London.

Announcing their split last week, Annie told her Instagram followers: "I am posting this in response to growing recent media enquiries about my marriage to Kyle and in an effort to protect my family against the intensity of the media spotlight. Sadly, after many years of marriage and three wonderful children together; I have decided to take some time away from Kyle."

Annie, who first met Kyle in their hometown of Sheffield when she was 15 and he 17, concluded her online statement with: "I do not wish to comment on the position any further. For now, I ask that the privacy of myself and our three young children is respected during this difficult time."
