Tammy Slaton has opened up to TLC fans about her sexuality following the death of her husband Caleb Willingham.

The 1000-lb Sisters star has reflected on her love life on social media recently, proudly displaying the LGBTQ+ pride and transgender flags online. After fans quizzed the reality TV star about the emojis, Tammy told followers she was a "supporter of everybody".

She posed up a storm in her latest TikTok video, responding to one follower who asked the 37-year-old if she was transgender after sharing the flag. "No, I'm not trans. I'm just a supporter of everybody. I was saying I was pansexual," she explained in the new clip.

Tammy said: "I kinda stopped messing with guys after my husband passed. So, I’m like a lesbian. I was just showing support. I'm not a hater. Love is love. Everybody deserves love whether they're gay, straight, trans, pan, bi, nonbinary, whatever. I’m just a lover."

It was only last month, in December last year, that Tammy revealed she found out her husband Caleb had died over text. She met him at the Windsor Lane Rehabilitation Center in Gibsonburg, Ohio. Both Tammy and Caleb were in the rehab centre for weight loss, and just a few months after meeting, they announced their engagement.

They tied the knot in a ceremony at the rehab centre in November 2022, surrounded by just 30 friends and family members, and the nuptials were officiated by their home care nurse and close friend Billy. But just seven months later, Caleb died at the age of 40.

In a new interview, she revealed she had left the facility to continue her weight loss journey at home in Kentucky, and Caleb had stayed behind. Tammy was then informed by a mutual friend that her husband’s health had taken a turn for the worse, and he was gravely ill.

"I was sitting in the foetal position. I got a text message from his friend up there and the text said, 'Caleb's not doing good. They're in there working on him.' 20 minutes later he texted me back and said he was gone," she told PEOPLE Magazine last year.

The heartbroken star said she was "doing fairly well" since her tragic loss, and decided to keep his memory "encapsulated" in two pieces of jewellery - a ring and a necklace - made from his ashes. "Knowing that he's with me, it's helping me pass the day.

"I find myself grabbing my necklace and holding it a lot. When I take off my jewellery, I feel like it's weird, separation anxiety. I start panicking," Tammy admitted, adding that she watches the show to remind her of happier times when she starts missing Caleb.

In June last year, Tammy announced Caleb had passed away, as she called him her "guardian angel", adding in a statement: "I am devastated to share the news of my husband’s passing. He was my best friend and I loved him dearly. When I met Caleb he became my guardian angel and now he really is watching over me. Our families appreciate everyone’s sympathy and ask that you respect our privacy at this time."
