Stephen Bear's ex 'stressed' as disgraced star released from prison early
Disgraced reality star Stephen Bear's ex girlfriend has admitted she was "stressed" as he got released from prison early.
Bear was handed a 21-month sentence in March 2023 after being found guilty of sharing a Georgia Harrison without her permission. The 33-year-old walked free on Wednesday 17 January, after serving half of his sentence. He was slapped with a restraining order and told not to contact Harrison for five years.
The Ex On The Beach star must also keep police informed of his whereabouts for an entire decade. Jessica Smith had initially supported fiancé Bear throughout his trial and when he was first put behind bars. However, she is said to have dumped Bear over the phone last September.

She posted a photo of a teddy bear and glasses of wine. Alongside the snap, Jessica wrote: "When he buys u a jelly cat cos ur stressed, ily x. Everyone meet katrina x."
Bear reportedly "cried for days" when Smith ended their relationship and begged her for a second chance. A source told Mirror Online at the time: “He said he was beside him and cried for days when Jessica ended things and has been sending letters asking for a second chance. And in the next breath asking about his clothes and shoes. That just sums him up me, me, me. Jessica is better off out of it and she realises that now.”

Bear recently boasted about his early release after spending 11 months behind bars. In a post from Bear's official X account, someone appearing to write for the inmate shared: "I will be leaving Brixton prison on the 17th January. Can't wait to get my life back on track. Who's excited to see me?". A poll was attached to the post where his followers could vote whether or not they were "excited" for him to be set free from prison.
The poll racked up over 8,600 votes. 18.4% voted saying "I can't wait to see you," while a whopping 81.6% voted: "I'd rather watch paint dry." Bear is said to have vowed to stay clear of social media and will reportedly be turning his back on his previous wild life which included selling X-rated snaps and videos on OnlyFans and sharing them on X, formerly Twitter.
He appeared drastically different as he walked out of HMP Brixton on Wednesday sporting shoulder-length hair and a bushy beard. Bear did not comment as he walked out of prison. He was found guilty of voyeurism and two counts of disclosing private, sexual photographs and films with Love Island star Harrison, without her consent. She bravely waived her right to anonymity for the trial.
Following his sentencing last year, Bear was also ordered to pay Harrison the sum of £200,000 – the highest amount awarded in an image abuse case. She has previously revealed the strain her two-and-a-half-year battle to seek justice took on her, explaining: "When it first happened, the physical effects on me were just horrific. I had acne come up all over my face. I ended up getting a cyst infection — the cyst eventually burst — and I was in hospital from stress. They said my kidneys, my pelvis, and multiple organs were infected, and I was going into septic shock."
