My Mum, Your Dad stars Janey Smith has said she's more in love with her her beau Roger Hawes now than ever before.

Janey and Roger, who were featured on Davina McCall's new ITV dating show, have since found long-lasting romance and vowed to work on their long-distance relationship. Roger, father to daughter Jess, lives in Derbyshire and joined the experiment with the hope of finding a best friend and lover after having no luck on dating apps.

Roger was also recently widowed with his wife sadly dying from melanoma 18 months previously. Singer Janey from West Sussex was nominated to appear on the reality series by her 19-year-old son William.

"Things are really great. We’re so happy. And as cheesy as it sounds, we just love being together and having a laugh. Every day we learn more about each other. We just want to be in each other’s company all the time. Being together feels like the most natural thing," Janey told OK! Magazine.

Now happily loved up, the pair made plans to spend Christmas together. Speaking to OK Magazine! last month, Roger and Janey revealed they would spend Christmas Day with family before meeting on Boxing Day in Derbyshire at Roger's Home in Chesterfield.

For Janey and her son Will it will be a different Christmas from their 'small family plans' that usually see them stay at home. This year will see children Jess and Will meet up again as Janey and Will meet the wider Hawes family in Derbyshire.

The couple also hinted at long-term plans, as Roger revealed he isn't ruling out marriage again. Roger told the publication: "I would definitely get married again. I enjoyed being married, it worked for me."

Marriage isn't off the cards for Janey, either as she added: "I’ve never been married so I would, yeah. I think most girls dream of that, don’t they? I always thought I would be married by Jess’s age." She added: "Life is short and you just want to have happy experiences and happy times. We’re very blessed."

Janey and Roger have also landed on their feet after the series wrapped earlier this year after it was revealed they have landed an exciting role on This Morning. The loved-up pair are set to participate in travel segments on the show and will tour the country giving reviews and sightseeing.

Despite living far apart in Derbyshire and West Sussex, the pair have made their relationship work with long distance as Janey has previously revealed: "We've seen each other every weekend since the show, we've not missed a chance and we'll just continue to do the same but a little bit more."
