Matty announced: "I just wanna thank restaurants as a whole, hospitality as a whole," Ebon then quickly marched up to him and tapped him on the back before holding his face in his hands as he embraced him. The two then gently rocked back and forth for nine seconds as their co-stars smiled and laughed and show lead Jeremy Allen White cheered for them.

Matty then said "I love you Ebon," as the embrace finally broke and the audience laughed alongside the two actors. Matty then continued his speech saying: "I just love restaurants so much. The good, the bad. It's rough,' he said. 'We're all broken inside and every single day we gotta show up and cook and make people feel good by eating something and sitting at a table. It's really beautiful."

He continued: "And all of us here get to make a show together, and we get to make people feel good — or filled with anxiety, or triggered... But this is really amazing. It's beautiful." The Bear sees Jeremy Allen White star as globally acclaimed chef Carmen 'Carmy' Berzatto who is the head of a Michelin-starred restaurant. The character returns to Chicago after his brother takes his own life and leaves him his sandwich shop.

Carmen then enlists the help of his cousin to help him renovate the sandwich shop into a fine dining venue and make a bid to get his very own Michelin star. Jeremy won the award for Lead Actor in a Comedy prize for the show, with Ebon Moss-Bachrach nabbing the prize for Outstanding Supporting Actor and Ayo Edebiri winning Outstanding Supporting Actress.
