Netflix series Better Call Saul set a grim record at the Primetime Emmy Awards this year making it the most snubbed television series of all time with a whopping 53 nominations and zero wins.

Fans were shocked as the popular Breaking Bad spin-off faced a disappointing night at the 75th annual award show as the series didn't bring home any awards despite the final season being nominated in four Emmy Awards categories. The famous drama series was nominated for Outstanding Drama Series, Outstanding Lead Actor in a Drama Series (which actor Bob Odenkirk has been nominated for six times), Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series and Outstanding Writing for a Drama Series.

Better Call Saul's brutal Emmy snub comes as the original Breaking Bad spinoff series starring Aaron Paul and Bryan Cranston won an astounding 16 Emmy Awards in the past including Best Drama Series two times during the show's five-season-long run.

On Monday evening, fans took to X, formerly Twitter, expressing their outrage over Better Call Saul's brutal Emmy snub. One viewer angrily wrote: "I have never watched an episode of Better Call Saul & even I think this is a f*****g joke!!!" Another fired off: "So, it was a big night at #TheEmmys for shows about obscenely rich white f**ks and fry cooks. No love for #BetterCallSaul and #ReservationDogs, the best two TV series that aired during the eligibility period? Miss me with that sh*t." And a third wrote: "i really don’t get the better call saul hate from these award voters every year."

The Netflix spin-off Better Call Saul kicked off in February of 2018 and has already superseded the run time of Breaking Bad with a gripping six seasons following the captivating journey of lawyer Jimmy McGill. The series follows the attorney as he transforms into Saul Goodman - a big shot lawyer with shady ethics and sleazy character.

And Lee Sung Jin also won for both Best Writing and Best Directing for a Limited or Anthology Series or Movie.
