Diablo 4 Season 2, otherwise known as Season of Blood, is officially set to end this month. This has caused the Diablo 4 player base to become somewhat feral, wondering what new endgame content will soon be added now that the festive-themed Midwinter Blight event is over. Thankfully, Activision Blizzard accidentally let slip that the Diablo 4 Season 3 release date will kick off on Tuesday, January 23. Now all that remains is to learn what it’ll consist of.

This is a day later in the week than when Diablo update live streams are typically aired. Still, it’s expected to follow the same format of multiple Activision Blizzard team members taking turns to discuss the new incoming content.

We know that it is set to last for a minimum of three months, as per, and that it will bring a new host of endgame mechanics and limited-time in-game events. However, every Diablo 4 season so far has benefitted from a central theme, and it’s this that typically sets the tone for what will keep players engaged.
Unfortunately, Activision Blizzard hasn’t given away many clues as to what the Diablo 4 Season 3 theme will be aside from an ominous tease tweet that states “unimaginable arcane power stirs” and that “evil looms”.
