Elton John can finally say he's an EGOT winner after decades in the entertainment industry.

The singer finally made it to the legendary status when his Disney+ special, Elton John: Farewell from Dodger Stadium won Outstanding Variety Special (Live) at the 2024 Emmy Awards. He is now the 19th person to receive the high honor of EGOT, which stands for Emmy, Grammy, Oscar, and Tony.

Elton first made his journey towards getting an EGOT when he won a Grammy in 1987. He won Best Pop Performance by a Duo or Group with Vocals for the song That's What Friends Are For along with Stevie Wonder, Dionne Warwick, and Gladys Knight.
