Kaley Cuoco announces she has rescued a cow - and unveils animal's quirky name

Kaley Cuoco has welcomed a new addition to her family

Kaley Cuoco has debuted the latest member of her family with Tom Pelphrey to her fans on Instagram.

The Big Bang Theory star took to her social media account to introduce her new addition to her followers - a cow named Connie Cowstein. Kaley, 38, uploaded a video of herself petting the cow with the soundtrack of Morgan Wallen's Cowgirl layered over the clip. She wrote "Our girl Connie Cowstein," over the video before adding in the next post that Connie a rescue animal.

Connie is the latest addition to Kaley and Tom's collection of animals that includes seven horses named Poker Face, Smooshy, Zaza, Thor, Santos, Zee-Yah and Bionetty. The couple also own four rescue dogs named Ruby, Opal, King and Blue.

Kaley and Tom welcomed their daughter Matilda Carmine Richie Pelphrey on March 30 2023. In October 2023 Kaley told PEOPLE how the infant had been welcomed by her pet dogs.

She said: "Oh my God, she got thrown to the wolves literally. After she was born, I'm like, 'If this child doesn't like dogs, I might have to send her back. There's no choice. This is your life. This is it.'

"They have jumped on her. They have crawled across her. We have let them lick her, kiss her. Our pediatrician was like, 'It's okay.' So they love her so much."

Kaley's horse horse Thor starred in PEOPLE's World's Most Beautiful issue in 2015 and was named "Sexiest Horse Alive," starring in the pages alongside her. Kaley is also a highly skilled equestrian. In 2023 she launched her own pet care brand called Oh Norman! named after her late dog.

The brand includes designs of everything from clothing for dogs and their owners to bowls and accessories. She said of the line: "I was excited to come out with products that were obviously cute, that were affordable, but also eco-friendly, healthy, good for the dogs, good for the owner, easy to clean, easy, easy, easy."
