Teen Mom star Amber Portwood 'officially quits' the show after 14 years
Teen Mom Amber Portwood has reportedly 'officially quit' the MTV show after 14 years.
Amber, 32, first appeared on 16 and Pregnant and proved a controversial 'character' from her explosive relationships before confronting her drug addictions and co-parenting battles to her daughter Leah.
Now an insider told The Sun Us "Amber is officially leaving Teen Mom.
"This was her own decision. She was not fired," the source claimed, and added that the reality star "will be making an announcement within the next few days."
The TV personality welcomed her first child Leah, with her ex-fiancé Gary Shirley, in a 2009 episode of 16 & Pregnant.

The reality star later gave birth to son James although recently shared her heartache as her ex, Andrew Glennon was granted sole custody of the four year old.
Andrew and the toddler have since moved to California, 2,000 miles from Amber's native Indiana.
Appearing on Teem Mom she refused to be drawn into discussions on the matter.
Dr. Drew probed her, asking: "Don't want to deal with the James thing?"
Amber flatly answered: "All of that. All of it. All of it was horrible."
The reality star previously spent spent 17 months behind bars for drug offences.
Speaking at the time she explained: "When you’re making a lot of money, there’s more drugs,” the mom of two said at the time.
“Every time a drug dealer had a new stash, of whatever, they called me first because they knew I’d buy the whole [stash], because I had the money to do it. It’s never helps.”
But sadly that wasn't the end of her brushes with the law as she later to pleaded guilty to two charges of domestic battery during a 2011 incident with Gary.
