Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce had a row with girlfriend, Taylor Swift, after the team's Christmas Day loss to the Las Vegas Raiders.

According to Life&Style, the defeat "ruined" their holiday celebrations. A source told the magazine: "The game pretty much ruined Taylor and Travis' holidays. Travis wasn't himself for days after. He snapped at Taylor and they had their first fight. He apologised after but Taylor definitely felt hurt and confused. It was rough."

The source also claimed that Swift was a "nervous wreck" before Kelce's New Year's Eve match against the Cincinnati Bengals. However, a 25-17 win lifted their spirits. Despite the Christmas Day hiccup, the couple, nicknamed "Swelce", are still going strong.

The Chiefs are set to face the Miami Dolphins in the Wild Card round on Saturday Night Football. The weather in Kansas City is expected to be freezing, with temperatures dropping to around 0f and a wind-chill factor of -30f.

Swift is expected to brave the weather and watch her partner. But Kelce isn't bothered by the plunging temperatures.

"I don't think anybody is really weighing in on weather, at least I'm not. I don't give a rat's a**," Kelce said. "I try not to even think about, that way I don't make an excuse. I know in cold weather games, the hand gets a little stiff and the body can get a little stiff."

"You just gotta stay warm on the sidelines, get a few claps in, get the hand stinging, get the blood-flow going in the hands and then just go out there and headbutt somebody man, cos that gets the blood-flow going a little bit more than usual. It'll be a cold one and you know what, hopefully that slows down the speed on the Miami offense. That's world class speed right there."

The last time the Chiefs played Miami, they beat them 14-12 in Frankfurt, Germany, last year. "It's hard to beat anybody twice," Kelce said.

"That was proven when we lost to the Raiders and the Broncos second time around. It's never easy. But at the same time the playoffs usually bring out a little bit more creativity and determined focus."

"It's almost as if you're playing the team for the first time, for me. Just the mindset is a little bit more tactical, a little bit more locked in on everything. It's going to be a hell of a challenge."
