Kylian Mbappe's transfer 'demands' to Liverpool emerge as exit agreed
Liverpool head into a well-earned winter break no doubt pretty happy with themselves as they thrive in all four competitions they are involved in.
Top of the Premier League table, through to the Europa League knockouts and leading their Carabao Cup semi-final against Fulham, the Reds have also been handed a favourable FA Cup draw at home to either Norwich City or Bristol Rovers.
Even Mohamed Salah's absence while on AFCON duty has not knocked the Reds off their stride, nor a handful of injuries including Trent Alexander-Arnold. Jurgen Klopp has called upon several youth stars to fill the gaps and appears content enough that Liverpool look unlikely to dip into the transfer market this month.
That said, players could still be heading out of the exit door at Anfield, while plans for the summer are already in progress. Here are the latest rumours from the red half of Merseyside...

The French forward looks set to leave Paris Saint-Germain on a free transfer when his contract expires in June, with Real Madrid and Liverpool the leading candidates to sign him.
Liverpool's chances of convincing Mbappe to move to Anfield look slim given owners Fenway Sports Group stick to a tight budget. While Mbappe would come without a transfer fee, his wages are seemingly out of Liverpool's price bracket.
The Telegraph report that Mbappe's representatives are demanding a salary of £64.5million a year after tax - or £1.24m a week. For comparison, Liverpool's top earner, Salah, is on a salary of around £350,000 per week.
Reds agree exit

Glatzel, 21, is on the verge of a permanent move to Swindon Town, reports the Echo, after spending the last two injury-ridden seasons on loan at Tranmere Rovers.
Former Liverpool youngsters Jake Cain and Tom Clayton are both playing at Swindon already. But Liverpool won't receive a huge fee for Glatzel's services, given he is into the final six months of his deal.
"Big talent" axed from training

The defender has been with the Ligue 2 club on loan since joining them in the summer but appears set to be recalled by Liverpool. La Voix Du Nord claim Koumetio is 'no longer taking part' in training.
Jurgen Klopp hailed Koumetio as a "big talent" after his role in Liverpool's pre-season schedule three years ago, though it is unclear whether the Reds boss has any plans to bring him into his first-team squad amid a host of injury issues.
