Master Chief is back and ready for war in season two of HALO

The latest season of HALO is just around the corner, as Paramount+’s hit sci-fi blockbuster heads to the streaming platform. Led by showrunner and executive producer David Wiener, the action-sci-fi series takes place in the universe that first debuted in 2001 with the launch of Xbox’s first HALO game.

It dramatizes an epic 26th-century conflict between humanity and an alien threat known as the Covenant. The live-action series – which boasts Steven Spielberg as an executive producer – weaves deeply drawn personal stories with action, adventure and a richly imagined vision of the future.

Its debut season broke viewership records to become Paramount+’s second-most watched original series ever, Variety reported. Almost two years since the airing of its season one finale, HALO fans have been eagerly awaiting the show’s return, which is now only days away.
