Gogglebox favourite Woody Cook has unveiled his new girlfriend on Instagram after suffering heartbreak last year.

The Celebrity Gogglebox star, 23, was left heartbroken when his long-term relationship with ex-girlfriend Nell Williams came to an end. However, Woody appears to have moved on and found love again with a new beauty.

Woody, who is the son of BBC Radio host Zoe Ball and DJ Norman Cook - otherwise known as Fatboy Slim - has hinted that he's in a relationship with the blonde, whose Instagram name is Ruby Prunstuke. In the sweet photo which was shared to his Instagram feed, Ruby could be seen embracing Woody's younger sister Nelly on a family getaway - proving that she's got the seal of approval from Woody's clan.

In the post, Woody referred to Ruby as "his rainbow" as he shed light on his new relationship. It looks like Ruby has been welcomed into the family already, with Woody's famous mum Zoe appearing to have given her the seal of approval. Despite only showing off his new relationship in recent days, it seems as though Zoe has been following her son's girlfriend on Instagram for some time now.

Away from his relationships, Woody has made a name for himself in the public eye after appearing as a contestant on Channel 4's The Circle. Soon after, he became a regular alongside his famous mum Zoe on Celebrity Gogglebox - quickly becoming a fan favourite.

Woody may be the son of music royalty with his parents being Zoe and Fatboy Slim, but he has no plans to work on BBC Radio 2. The star previously joked to The Mirror that his mum is there for the nation as the aunt everybody knows.

While he is no stranger to radio stations and recording studios, Woody admitted that he doesn't see himself following in Zoe's footsteps on BBC Radio 2. Woody recently joined his mum at the studio in Wogan House, admitting it was a "surreal" experience before adding: "Take your son to work day, it was funny."

Shedding light on whether he has a future at the station, he said: "No, no, my music style is a bit different, I couldn't play the stuff they play on primetime slots, not to be rude to anyone who enjoys it, it's not my kind of music.

"I feel like I'd go slightly nuts if I had to listen to the same pop stuff that you get a lot of the time there. When I was a kid, I used to listen to Terry Wogan on BBC Radio 2 on the way to school. I'm not in enough on celeb culture, everyone is always talking about what Harry is up to, both the Prince and the Styles – it's not my kind of scene."

The Mirror has approached Woody for comment on this story.
