Vin Diesel fronts the latest instalment of the Fast and Furious franchise

What better way to start a new year than with a bunch of new movies landing on Sky. With January being the month for laying low and hunkering down at home, why not spend the month working your way through the latest movies available on Sky Cinema?

From fast-paced action to cinematic classics, there’s more than 100 films launching this month – including some high-scorers on Rotten Tomatoes – which means film fans will be spoilt for choice. All of these awesome films are available with Sky Cinema, which savvy shoppers can currently get as part of an awesome bundle that also includes Netflix and ultrafast broadband thanks to Sky’s “lowest price” deal.

Sky is offering a money-saving package with Sky TV, Sky Stream, Netflix and Ultrafast fibre broadband for £39 a month, while Sky Cinema can be added for only £10 more. This includes premium Sky channels like Sky Atlantic, Sky Max and Sky Documentaries, while Sky Cinema members also get Paramount+ included at no extra cost.

This saves almost £115 by not having to pay for Netflix and Paramount+ subscriptions and also includes two free Vue cinema tickets every month. But customers can save even more by upgrading their bundle for with Sky’s Ultrafast+ 500Mb/s broadband for £4 more and save £180 across the full 18-month package.

That’s because the package has been cut by £10 a month across the entire 18-month plan. The discount is applied to the broadband when adding it to your basket during checkout, but time is running out to bag this deal as it expires on February 1.

This means by signing up today, shoppers can lock in the current price for 18 months and catch all these blockbuster films as well as the fourth season of True Detective, House of the Dragon season two and the all-new Ted prequel series when they launch this year. What’s more, with Netflix included members can stream new Michelle Keegan thriller Fool Me Once and action-packed comedy-drama The Brothers Sun at no extra cost.

In similar fashion to the previous nine films from the series, this Fast X offers plenty of action sequences and car chases perfect for those who love a fast-paced and nail-biting watch.

With an 84 audience score on Rotten Tomatoes, this is a guaranteed hit if you’re a fan of the franchise.

Jennifer Lawrence stars as Maddie in this outlandish comedy

From Emmy-winning The Office writer-director Gene Stupnitsky, this comedy film stars Jennifer Lawrence as Maddie, a desperate woman who thinks she’s found the answer to her financial troubles when she discovers an intriguing job listing: wealthy helicopter parents looking for someone to “date” their introverted 19-year-old son and bring him out of his shell before he leaves for college.

But awkward Percy proves to be more of a challenge than she expected, and time is running out before she loses it all. The outlandish comedy boasts an 87 percent audience score on Rotten Tomatoes and spent five weeks in Netflix’s top 10 when it launched in the US.

Transformers: Rise of the Beasts

Set at an inn which is only open on holidays, a crooner and a hoofer vie for the affections of a beautiful up-and-coming performer. Bing Crosby and Fred Astaire star in this beloved musical, for which composer Irving Berlin wrote twelve original songs including the classic “White Christmas”.

While a film from the 1940s may not be everyone’s cup of tea, Holiday Inn boasts a staggering 100 percent score on Rotten Tomatoes meaning it’s certainly worth a watch.

Arthur’s Whisky

Diane Keaton, Lulu and Patricia Hodge star in this British comedy

This brand-new Sky Original movie is a feel-good comedy that follows Joan (Patricia Hodge) who discovers that her late husband invented an anti-aging elixir. Sharing it with her two friends, they paint the town red but soon discover that it’s a very different world to the one they remember.

Starring acting royalty including Patricia Hodge, Diane Keaton and music icon Lulu, this British comedy is the perfect film to settle down to for those keen for a cosy evening in.

Shakespeare in Love

Joseph Fiennes stars as a young William Shakespeare in this romantic drama

This acclaimed 1998 period drama presents a fictional story about the world’s greatest ever playwright, William Shakespeare. Out of ideas and short on money, a young Shakespeare (Joseph Fiennes) meets his perfect woman and is inspired to write what becomes one of his most successful works – Romeo and Juliet.

Shakespeare in Love earnt Gwyneth Paltrow an Oscar for Best Actress garnered critical acclaim for the script, performances, and production – and with a 92 percent Rotten Tomatoes score, it’s easy to see why this remains a hit.
