Lisa Bonet and Jason Momoa's divorce settlement ties them in relationship longer

Lisa Bonet and Jason Momoa came to a speedy settlement after their initial divorce papers were filed just Monday.

It took one day for the two to formally decide the terms of their divorce, suggesting they already discussed some of the nuances ahead of time. The settlement was decided privately away from the questioning eyes of the public, including their custody agreement, financial support, and more.

The custody of their kids Lola and Nakoa will be split evenly and they're forgoing any court mandated child support. Instead, they plan to share the children's expenses equally and decided the details between themselves for now.

They have been split since 2020

The court documents obtained by TMZ also revealed that neither Lisa nor Jason are set up to receive spousal support. They've waived that aspect of their divorce. The documents indicate that the pair will technically be married up until July at which point they'll be considered "single" again.

Lisa and Jason's relationship has been slowly fizzling out over the course of the past few years. In 2022, they revealed that the had split, but waited until now to actually file the formal divorce documents. In doing so, fans found out hat they actually were separated since 2020, a major twist in the tale. Some reconciliation rumours popped up over the years, but ultimately this relationship just didn't work out.

In their official separation announcement two years ago, they wrote: "We have all felt the squeeze and changes of these transformational times. A revolution is unfolding and our family is of no exception… feeling and growing from the seismic shifts occurring. And so We share our Family news that we are parting ways in marriage. We share this not because we think it’s newsworthy but so that as we go about our lives we may do so with dignity and honesty.

"The love between us carries on, evolving in ways it wishes to be known and lived. We free each other to be who we are learning to become. Our devotion unwavering to this sacred life & our Children. Teaching our Children What’s possible. Living the Prayer. May Love Prevail."
