Woman transforms £12 Ikea table into 'designer piece' - and people are amazed

A woman has wowed interior design fans with her clever trick to transform a £12 Ikea table into 'designer' furniture. Using an extra table, she turned her existing one into a stylish piece, leaving people amazed on TikTok.

After her first video showing how she made her table look like a designer piece, she posted a second 'how-to' video. In it, she said: "This is the 'lack table' and these are the four legs I only needed two to create this, and I spray painted the ends so they matched the colour of the table."

She then showed how she placed two table legs on the floor, added the table top, then put the original table on top and glued all corners for security.

"This is not fake! This is a £12 table I created to make one a little bit taller," she explained. Viewers were amazed by how simple it was, with one commenting: "Ma'am you've just saved my husband's two tables from going in the trash Thanks," and another adding: "It came out beautifully. Go Girl!"

Someone else tried it too, saying: "I made this today and it looks gorgeous in my bedroom. Thank you!" Loads of people thought it looked stunning, using words like genius, dope and beautiful. Another person said: "You did that and it's so beautiful."
