Nobody's Child 'pinny' dress loved by Fearne Cotton is now less than £40
With January in full swing, many of us are trying to curb our post-Christmas blues by indulging in some retail therapy to kick start 2024, making the most of the sales and giving our wardrobe a boost - and one dress that's on our wish list is the Piper Cord Pinny Mini Dress from Nobody's Child that has had it's price slashed by almost 30 per cent making it now £39.
Worn by and raved about by Nobody's Child ambassador Fearne Cotton, whose collections with the brand have us in love, the Piper cord mini became one of its best-selling pieces when it first launched in September 2022 for having a gorgeous sixties silhouette - in its first 48 hours, the dress sold out and has been restocked multiple times since, causing shoppers to go into the fashion frenzy.
Coming in a variety of colours, the sale price only relates to the scarlet red pinny dress, which is great if your outfit is yearning for a pop of colour in a relatively monochromatic outfit. With a loose fit (although if you want a close cut, size down), v-neckline and 100 per cent BCI cotton, it's no wonder shoppers are bagging this dress time and again - and with it having over £15 off, it's a nice treat to help you through January and beyond.
While the pinny is great for layering - over a polo neck and tights - it lends itself to being a summery dress too thanks to its mini-length, just pair it with a baby tee and sandals.
Shoppers are utterly "obsessed" with the dress, understandably, and can't stop raving about its versatility not just betweens the seasons but going from day to night.
Kate Middleton swears by £19.99 rosehip oil that helps 'reduce wrinkles & scars'One said that it was "reminiscent of the 60s. Great style well made and comfortable to wear I love it!"
Another added: "Looks great with a top underneath or without. Great fit, comfortable yet chic! Light enough for summer days but will be great in winter with tights and boots."
A third stated: "I live in this pinny through autumn/winter. It is so comfy and stylish."
While its loose fit is welcomed by many fashion lovers, some didn't quite like the "unflattering" nature of the dress and one said: "This dress made me look pregnant. So unflattering".
Elsewhere, if red is your forte but Nobody's Child isn't quite floating your style boat, Boden's pocket detail mini shift dress in 'hot pepper' is on sale from £110 to £55 as is New Look's burgundy cord mini dress, which is now only £8 from £26.99.
Fancy a warmer, knitted version? ASOS DESIGN's 2-in-1 pinny jumper dress comes with a long sleeved top underneath and is down from £30 to £18.
