The genuine perfume lasts all day, the M&S version doesn't, but then it's a fraction of the price. Good value and a lovely fragrance for the price. Would definitely buy again.”

Some customers have agreed that the scent's longevity isn’t as impressive as the £71 Chanel bottle, writing: “A lovely smell of Coco Chanel and a great price. Sadly the smell doesn't last and less than an hour after spraying the smell is gone. Not great for a full day event, or evening out.”

But others have said they can still smell it long after applying, countering: “For such a low price this is amazing. Used after a shower 12 hours ago and I can still smell the aroma. Used to spending a fortune on perfume, but M&S are as lovely as the expensive ones. Strongly recommend.”
