Peter Andre shares Emily's pregnancy update as he prepares for baby number five
Peter Andre has shared a new update on his wife Emily's pregnancy as he prepares to become a dad for the fifth time.
The pair already share Amelia, 10, and Theo, seven, whilst the Mysterious Girl singer also has Junior, 18, and Princess, 16, from his previous marriage to Katie Price. Peter and Emily first revealed they were expecting again in October, as they took to Instagram to post a snap of themselves holding scan images.
"We are delighted to share the news with you all," 50-year old Pete said at the time. "A new addition to our family in 2024. The kids are so excited. So are we."

Peter and Emily announced their pregnancy news in October (Peter Andre/Instagram)Now, Pete has explained things are starting to feel "very real" as they edge closer to 34-year old Emily's due date. "The baby and Emily are both doing great – in fact the little one is kicking like crazy," he told OK! magazine. "Emily and I recently did an exclusive photo shoot with OK! magazine, and even in the short time since then, her baby bump has really started showing. The whole family has been talking to the baby to make sure it recognises our voices. Things are becoming very real now."
Last week GP Emily took to her Instagram account to share a close-up picture of her baby bump as she relaxed on the beach in a bikini on the family's holiday in the Middle East. "Such a lovely break and now back home, missing the sea and sand already but counting down the next 3 months to meet our little one," she captioned the post - suggesting she is due in April.

Discussing that New Year break, meanwhile, Peter added: "We’re back from an amazing family trip to Ras Al Khaimah, which is just outside Dubai. We spent six days there and brought in the New Year with the lovely folk at the InterContinental. We were the first people to eat in the Anantara Rak hotel, which was amazing – looking forward to going back there again.
"The kids had a ball, especially when we rented a jet ski in the shape of a sports car. They were desperate to go on it. It’s great to spend quality family time together in the sunshine."
It comes after he said having another baby has given him a "new lease of life", with him having further expressed excitement recently ahead of welcoming the new arrival. Peter recently teased that meeting their unborn baby will be the "ultimate gift" this year.
"It goes without saying that the moment I'm most excited about in 2024 is meeting our newest bundle of joy," he said, before adding: "That will be the ultimate gift. Having another baby actually makes me want to work even harder and has given me a new lease of life," he teased. He concluded by saying that he "can't wait" to see what the new year brings and shared well-wishes with his fans.
