For some people, KFC is the ultimate comfort food, and most foodies have their go-to order that they just can't get enough of. But one former KFC staff member has shared that there are some menu requests they get regularly, and she's highlighted the frustration she felt when those situations arose.

Sophie, who posts on TikTok as @soph_louey decided to role-play some customer interactions she had in the past to show customers how she felt when she worked in fast food.

She captioned the video: "Working in fast food tested me", followed by a crying with laughter face emoji. Over the video, it reads: "POV [point of view]: You work at KFC."

She said: "Hi welcome to KFC, what can I get started for you?"

Pretending to be the customer, she replied: "Yes, I want a plain fillet meal, please. Plain fillet meal, no sauce. Plain fillet meal."

She then double-checked with the customer that they wanted it plain, so wasn't pleased when they came back to say: "Excuse me, why is there no cheese on my fillet burger?"

When giving the new burger back she said: "I mean that's still not plain but here you go."

Sophie then shared another frequent scenario that frustrates her, where people misunderstand that a meal comes with one side, so if they choose gravy, they won't get chips - unless it's a box meal.

The customer said: "Hi, I would like to order this meal, please."

Sophie, speaking as herself, replies: "Yes, would you like fries, beans, corn on the cob, or gravy with that?"

"I’ll have a gravy, please."

Sophie then gives the customer their meal and they respond: "Where are my fries?"

Sophie said: "Oh, you chose gravy instead of your fries, so I’ve given you gravy."

They then argued that they wanted fries, and Sophie explained they would've had to order a box meal, to which they replied: "Well, you should have told me that."

Later in the video, she also corrects a 'customers' pronunciation of a box meal.

In the comments, people who also worked in fast food related.

One wrote: "Maccies worker here, it's a hard life."

Someone shared a similar experience, jokingly adding: "'Can I have a bucket' yeah what one. 'A bucket'."

Another fumed: "My personal favourite is can I have chicken please."
