Priyanka Chopra has delighted fans by sharing a string of warm family snaps while wishing her fans all the best for 2024.

The 41-year-old actress is married to 31-year-old singer and actor Nick Jonas and together they welcomed a daughter named Malti Marie in January 2022. Taking to Instagram on Saturday, Priyanka shared some adorable snaps of her husband and their young daughter as they enjoyed a family trip to Mexico together.

The Love Again actress explained that she had been taking time away from social media to spend time with her loved ones - and to recharge after a bust in 2023. She uploaded a number of photos and short video clips alongside an upbeat message.

The Hollywood star wrote: “Took some time to feed my soul. 2023 had me spent.. maybe I still am. Here’s to a 2024 highlighted by peace, respite, family, love, joy and community. Hold your loved ones close. We are very lucky if we can. Happy New Year.”

Her cover image showed Nick looking at the camera on a beach while protectively cuddling Malti - while Priyanka herself looked contemplatively out to sea. A short video clip showed Priyanka holding Malti’s hands while they both stood on the sand and watched the gentle rolling waves of the ocean lapping on the shore. And another photo showed the actress and her daughter cuddling together.

Further snaps showed Priyanka and Nick posing together with their hands on each other, another happy family snap of the three of them on a beach, a selfie of Priyanka reading a book beside a swimming pool, and a photo of cocktails contained within coconuts clinking together.

Another snap showed Priyanka posing in the sun with her mother, Madhu, and a short video of Malti taking the wheel of a speedboat while her parents cuddled around her and they sailed off into the ocean together.

The treasure trove of photos and videos sparked a frenzy of appreciative messages from fans and followers - including Nick himself who responded to the post with a string of red heart emojis. Fans were delighted to see clips and photos of Malti Marie, with one writing: “I don't know why but I get so many positive vibes after I see her, she is so well raised, disciplined and literate in true aspects, credit goes to her Mommy.”

Opening up about motherhood last year, Priyanka confessed she was a bag of nerves. She confessed to Today: "Motherhood has made me a lot more fragile. I don’t know if motherhood has impacted my self-worth or confidence but what it has impacted — it’s made me a lot more wary. Every day, I’m like, ‘Oh my gosh, what’s the mistake I’m going to make? Or how can I mess this up? How am I going to self-sabotage in a way?’ I feel like I have to remind myself that I’m a confident person and I can do this."

She went on to explain she hopes to instil confidence in her daughter - a trait her own parents were keen for her to learn. She said: “I think you start when they are born. My parents did that with me, teaching me a sense of self.

“I was always told to voice my opinion … If there was someone who critiqued me or debated my opinion, I was encouraged to have that conversation. I think that is one way my parents equipped me with being able to have a sense of self when I got out into the real world.”
