Spoilers have revealed that one character on the cobbles faces death if he isn't rescued in time after a worrying incident. Elsewhere, the ITV soap airs a shocking betrayal next week, as Aadi Alahan and Nina Lucas share a shock kiss, leaving Nina's girlfriend Asha Alahan devastated.

Coronation Street airs possible tragedy next month as one character faces death on the ITV soap. Aadi Alahan is left unconscious and fighting for his life in a worrying incident at his flat, and despite someone finding him they don't realise the danger he is in. It's not been confirmed whether Aadi survives and is found in time, but he faces grave peril.

It's been revealed in spoilers that Aadi will suffer from carbon monoxide poisoning, unaware of the leak in his flat. His carbon monoxide alarm is shown to be broken on the side, so the poisonous gas is undetected and Aadi receives no warning.

After a row with sister Asha and a moment of passion with her girlfriend Nina Lucas, Aadi heads to his flat alone to get away from the drama. But as he falls asleep on the sofa, he has no idea of the danger he is in and soon he falls unconscious.

Asha is furious with her twin brother over the kiss with Nina and heads to his flat. But as she lays into him, she appears to not notice that he is in fact unconscious. The character storms in and tells him that she never wants to see him again, before heading straight back out again. But will someone find Aadi in time?

Coronation Street will be full of explosive scenes next week as one character is accused of a brutal assault in a huge police twist storyline on the ITV soap.

Soap watchers will recall that only recently Evelyn Plummer has been involved in a hard-hitting storyline after she confronted a man called Terry, who was mistreating his dog. And things take another worrying turn in upcoming scenes as the hit ITV soap, who have been working with the RSPCA, airs a puppy farm storyline with Terry and Evelyn.

In the upcoming episodes, Evelyn scours the internet for evidence of Terry running a puppy farm and later in the precinct, she spots him exiting the pound shop with a tray of puppy food and decides to follow him. However, it's not long until Terry catches Evelyn tailing him and threatens her with violence.

Later in the week, Evelyn and daughter Cassandra "Cassie" Plummer show Roy Cropper a puppy for sale online, predicting Terry's the unseen person holding it in the photo. In a bid to get further information, Roy calls to make an inquiry and gets through to a woman called Joan, who gives Roy her address in the precinct.

Meanwhile, Cassie calls pretending she has bought a large delivery of dog food and Joan sends her away after Cassie divulged Terry's address. Deciding to pay Terry a visit, Cassie climbs in through the downstairs window of a house into a room full of crates of puppies and a bag of cash nearby.

However, it's not long until Terry enters with a baseball bat but he's soon distracted by a noise outside. Yet things take another tense turn when Cassie stuffs the cash into her pockets and is gathering up the puppies to make her escape when Terry enters the room, spotting the open cages. Will Cassie manage to rescue the puppies and get away from Terry?

Things go from bad to worse when PC Craig Tinker calls at the café with news that Terry's been seriously assaulted after Evelyn was seen arguing with him outside his house. A guilty Cassie then watches as Evelyn gets into Craig's police car. Later, Craig calls at the café again and assures Evelyn that she's no longer under suspicion.

Meanwhile, Cassie hides her unease as Craig informs them that they're still looking for Terry's attacker and that same person stole a large amount of cash. And it's not long until Cassie's downfall is teased as Hope Stape catches her with a bag full of cash to which she offers her a slice of the money if in return she keeps quiet. Will Hope keep Cassie's secret and what will Evelyn have to say if she finds out?
