No-one involved in The Traitors sleeps well – the players because they’re worried about being murdered/unmasked, and us viewers because the show always ends on the most gigantic, unbearable cliff-hanger.

Last night we were left guessing who the fourth Traitor would be, tonight, finally we were put out of our misery with the revelation that it was Miles. But would the cuddly, gentle vet be too much of a nice guy to able to deal with converting to the dark side?

“I want to be the last man standing and win all the money. Game on!” he said in his confessional, so apparently not.

As the group waited to see who wouldn’t come to the breakfast table, Paul privately explained to the camera how he’d calculated the best way to behave at the table to appear innocent, before announcing gleefully, “I killed Aubrey, which felt lovely. A sweet taste, like rich chocolate.” He really is a brilliant baddie, so well chosen as a Traitor.

Speaking of well chosen, a moment of appreciation for Claudia’s looks please, which today included a killer kilt/high pony combo and a really lovely coat.

Instead of talking about them though, all the players gathered in little groups in different areas of the castle to discuss who they thought the Traitors could be, sometimes with people who were, unbeknownst to them of course, Traitors.

Diane tried to lead everyone to vote for Anthony because she didn’t like him, rather than because she suspected him, which seemed like a strange strategy. “He’s just here for himself,’ she insisted. What, unlike all the others, including you?

The first Banishment was typically tense, with Traitor Harry noting before that the pressure of everyone watching his every facial expression and fidget was “unimaginable.”

Sonia/Sonja/Sonya (no-one could quite decide) ended up being the name most people wrote on their boards, because the consensus was that she asked too many questions, so was stirring, which is what a Traitor would do. Her only defence – the thing everyone says, the only thing anyone CAN say - “I am a Faithful,” convinced no-one, even though she was telling the truth. Bye then.

Later The Traitors met to decide who to murder. It seemed logical that they take advantage of the beef between Diane and Anthony to kill one so the other would be suspected, but they decided to off “someone random” instead. But would it be Jonny, Kyra or Meg? Would it? WOULD IT????????

You know the drill by now. Sleep well.
