Laura Anderson praises daughter's resilience after getting back with Gary Lucy
Laura Anderson has praised her baby daughter’s “resilience” after appearing to confirm she is back with ex Gary Lucy.
The Love Island star took to her Instagram stories to share an adorable video of four-month-old baby Bonnie asleep on the sofa. The tot wore a cute cream and pink babygrow with strawberries on it and a matching pair of fluffy pink slippers. Laura captioned the post: “My resilient little superstar.”
It comes after Laura spent the festive season with former Hollyoaks star Gary, who she split from before Bonnie arrived in early September. But after reconciling their differences just before the birth, love looks like it’s in the air again - if their latest pictures are anything to go by.
Sparking rumours they are properly back together, the pair shared a kiss on New Year’s Eve and were spotted wearing matching pyjamas on Christmas Day as they marked Bonnie’s first Christmas as a family. Earlier on in December, Laura shared a photo of herself, Bonnie and Gary meeting Santa and wrote: “All about B. First Christmas I feel a bit of pressure. It won’t be perfect Angel but every year I promise to make it even more magical #BabyB.”

Now back in Scotland, she shared this adorable video of 'resilient' baby Bonnie (Instagram)In her latest Instagram post, Laura told her 1.5 million followers that her and Bonnie were now back in Scotland, as Gary lives in Essex because he has to be close to the four other kids he shares with ex-wife Natasha Gray. Discussing their co-parenting arrangement while living so far apart, Laura said Gary could "come here whenever he wants to see her and I'm taking the lead from him".

She told Closer magazine: "I want them to have a bond and I want him to witness all the changes, the smiles and the little giggles because time just goes so fast. We've not fully worked it out yet and I imagine it'll be easier to schedule things when Bonnie's a bit older. But for now, if I come down to London for work, I always tell him so he can see her."
Laura, 34, and Gary, 42, first got together in summer 2022 after meeting on Celebs Go Dating. Despite splitting up shortly after Laura announced her , Gary was by her side when she gave birth to Bonnie last year and she recently said: "I don't feel like I could have done it without Gary there."
Revealing it was a “horrendous” birth, Laura bravely detailed the traumatic experience and told fans she suffered a postpartum haemorrhage that was "mentally quite torturous" for her. The harrowing ordeal resulted in a loss of 1.6 litres of blood.
After receiving a non-hormonal cervical balloon to induce labour, baby Bonnie arrived in just three pushes. Laura shared: "They got her out, she cried straight away, she was really responsive and alert it was amazing. I was talking to her, she really liked that."
However, the ordeal wasn't over for Laura. She suffered a second-degree tear during delivery and required stitches. Five hours later, she experienced a severe haemorrhage, losing significant amounts of blood and clots, which left her feeling extremely faint. Although it was a traumatic experience, Laura said it "went perfectly" as Gary was there.
She told magazine: “I’m glad he was there because I always imagined the father of my baby being at the birth. He was really hands-on and it was good to have him in my corner checking that things were going OK. Gary and my mum made a good team! It was 100% the right thing to do for Bonnie, for me and for him. It was important to set aside any emotional differences or any romantic issues between us because the only person that mattered was Bonnie."
