Waterloo Road's Adam Thomas kicks back as he ditches the UK after 'busy' period
Adam Thomas welcomed in the New Year whilst on holiday abroad with his family and has shared updates from the trip.
The actor, 35, celebrated New Year's Eve in the United Arab Emirates. He was joined by his wife Caroline Thomas, 33, as well as their children Teddy, nine, and Elsie, five. The family are on holiday together in the capital city Abu Dhabi.
Fans have been given updates on social media from both Adam and Caroline whilst on the vacation. This has included the couple giving a glimpse at the activities the family have enjoyed, as well as showcasing scenery at the destination.

He's shared updates from their trip to Abu Dhabi on social media (adamthomas21/Instagram)The family's holiday with On the Beach has included staying at the Warner Brothers Hotel. They have also visited the companion theme park, Warner Bros. World, whilst on the trip, as teased by Caroline in a recent post on Instagram.
She's shared photos from the experience, including showing Teddy and Elsie in front of a sign for the brand. Another showed Teddy - who stars alongside Adam on Waterloo Road - posing beside actors dressed as Batman and Robin. It wasn't the only theme park that the family visited on the trip, as Caroline shared that they went to Ferrari World too. Her post also included a photo of the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque, whilst another showcased their hotel's exterior.

She's shared that the family have visited locations including the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque (carolinethomas23/Instagram)Caroline teased in a post on the weekend that the holiday comes after a "busy" period, which included Adam taking part in Strictly Come Dancing. She wrote: "It's been the best to get away as a family after a crazy busy few months!"
She told her followers: "There is so much to do for the kids in Abu Dhabi. Whatever their age, we have had an absolute ball. Would absolutely recommend." Adam and his wife subsequently shared a joint post to mark the new year. Alongside a photo of the family, seemingly taken on holiday, they wrote: "Happy New Year from the Thomas family, wishing you all a 2024 of love and laughter."
More recently, Adam shared footage of the family visiting what appeared to be SeaWorld Abu Dhabi. Among the content that he shared from the experience was a clip of him and his daughter Elsie near some penguins in the venue.
