Mark Wright calls Michelle Keegan a 'superstar' as he gushes over Netflix series
Michelle Keegan has been described as a "superstar" by her husband Mark Wright following the release of her latest project, which she's admitted she was "nervous" about.
The actor, 36, leads the cast of the eight-part series Fool Me Once, which was released by Netflix on New Year's Day. It's based on the novel of the same name by Harlan Coben, whose work includes The Stranger and Stay Close.
Fool Me Once follows Michelle's character Maya Stern who suspects that her husband Joe Stern (played by Richard Armitage), who was presumed murdered, is actually alive. It's teased by the streaming platform that Maya "uncovers a deadly conspiracy that stretches deep into the past".
Following its launch, a number of viewers have praised the show on social media, with many sharing that they binge-watched it. Michelle's husband Mark, 36, has encouraged his followers to do the same in a supportive message this week.
The presenter shared his pride in a post on his Instagram Story on Monday afternoon. Alongside a teaser for the new series, he wrote: "Unbelievable show, unbelievably proud. [Michelle] you're a superstar. Fool Me Once all eps on Netflix worldwide now! You want a binge! Get this on now."

She expressed gratitude to her fans for their support over the project.
The actor - who rose to fame on Coronation Street, before appearing in shows like Brassic - stated: "I'm just walking in the rain, very glamorous, [in] the middle of London. I'm just on my way to do some interviews for Fool Me Once."
Michelle - whose colleagues on the Netflix show include Joanna Lumley - then said in the message to her followers: "I wanted to jump on here to say thank you so much [for] everyone's messages. Honestly. It's so overwhelming."
She further commented: "I've been so nervous for the show to come out." Michelle continued: "It came out yesterday and yeah I've had so [many] amazing, positive messages. I've read them all and I just wanted to say thank you."
Since the show's release, Michelle has shared some of the reaction from viewers. It included one fan who wrote: "Def recommend to watch this! Had us hooked throughout! Best thing we've watched in a while." Whilst another said: "Not moved in almost 2 hours. Can't stop watching [the show]."
