Chelsee Healey shares first baby pics after being mum-shamed over unusual name
Hollyoaks star Chelsee Healey has shared adorable snaps of herself cradling her newborn daughter - while defending her baby’s name.
The 35-year-old actress - who has played Goldie McQueen on the Channel 4 soap since 2016 - welcomed her second daughter this month. The star announced the arrival of her baby girl on Christmas Eve - sharing a snap of her tiny baby sleeping in a cradle while surrounded by balloons above her head.
Chelsee kept her birth announcement simple, revealing that her bundle of joy had arrived on December 22 and that her name was Cookie. A week later, Chelsee was out and about with her baby in her arms and proudly posed for photos that she shared on Instagram - much to the delight of fans.
The soap star looked glowing as she carried her tiny newborn in her arms while wearing a Gucci dress and with her hair cascading around her shoulders. The glamorous mum looked lovingly at her daughter in a second image - with the pair posing underneath a cherry blossom tree.

After all the hate, messages and nasty comments on my daughters name i just don’t want to show the internet my Beautiful Cookie."

She added: "Hope everyone is have a gorgeous Festive period.” Her new update was met with approval from fans - who noted how happy the actress looked and lamented at the fact her daughter had been targeted by cruel online trolls.
One fans gushed over the images, writing: “Oh my word Chelsee. You look bloody gorgeous, it’s just not fair that you look so good when your beautiful Cookie is only one week old. X your face, you just ooze happiness.”
Another typed: “I’m so sorry you’ve had to experience the hate from horrid jealous trolls - it’s just so wrong. But I bet all the cruel jibes just disappear when you look into her beautiful eyes though . A mum can’t ever feel anything but love when they do that. I love her name - and I think it goes perfectly with your older daughters name too.”
While Chelsee’s former Waterloo Road co-star Eva Pope wrote: “ongratulations my love!! You are amazing and what love you have in your life, with two little bundles!! I know it’s hard but try to ignore any negative people, it will always be their feelings of inferiority and jealousy that makes them try to hurt your incredible spirit.”
Chelsee has kept her personal life largely out of the spotlight - with the identity of her baby’s father not yet known to the public. She already has a six-year-old daughter named Coco who she shares with 35-year-old ex-boyfriend Jack Malloy, who she split from six months after her first daughter arrived.
Chelsee recently gave a rare insight into her current relationship, telling Closer Magazine: "This is the most supportive relationship I've ever been in. My friends and family love him, and he's the first bloke I've introduced Coco to, which says a lot. I knew he was The One within three to four months. I've kissed a few frogs, but he's definitely marriage material."
