Katie Price speaks to fans ahead of 'last show' pantomime performance
OnlyFans star and former glamour model Katie Price has shared a message to fans ahead of her last stint on stage as a pantomime star.
The former glamour model, 45, has been starring as Wicked Fairy Carabosse in the pantomime Sleeping Beauty at the M&S Bank Arena in Liverpool. The star has earned a reported £60,000 for her time as the pantomime villain, earning mixed reviews after she fluffed lines, misse cues and forgot dance routines on stage.
Taking to Instagram on Saturday (December 30), the mother-of-five signed off from her role, telling her followers: "Last day of panto today... I've enjoyed every minute and it's been a wonderful way to end 2023."
Despite enjoying her time on stage in Liverpool, Katie's performance has been met with mixed reviews. Katie's part in the Liverpool panto has come with a hefty fee as the star is rumoured to be getting paid £60,000 for the festive gig.
However bosses have been forced to slash ticket prices by 25 percent after scathing reviews of Katie's acting performance were posted online.
Katie Price and Danielle Lloyd 'bury the hatchet' after documentary feudKatie's stint has had some theatre goers pan the glamour model for her acting and dancing skills. Comments seen by The Sun, included: "Maybe, just maybe Katie Price could learn the routines. She was an absolute disgrace.
Clear to see how hard the other cast members have worked. very clear she thinks she can rock up making zero effort!!!" Another person shared: "Lol you hardly had any words, did no rehearsing and bippo acted you off the stage. Good work you can't sing or act - your family must be so embarrassed".
However some have praised her for her role as the bad fairy, as one wrote: "Me and my partner went to see the adult version, it was brilliant." Another shared: "So nice to hear something positive, she deserves it. Everyone deserves a second chance."
One audience member commented: "She's been brill my niece is one of the kids dancing and she has been lovely with her." A third wrote: "Maybe the nasties could have a day off, its nearly Christmas ffs.." And another wrote: "You were fab,we loved it. Totally confident and funny as!"
Katie has even confessed she may not have learnt many of her lines for the panto. Speaking on her podcast, The Katie Price Show about the show's songs with her sister Sophie, Katie admitted that she's not a fan of the music.
She said: "I'm not from the West End, right, and these songs aren't singing, they're more like talking. I don't know how to learn it. It's not even the kind of music I would listen to." Sophie then burst into laughter as she revealed theatre bosses had given Katie songs suitable for her vocal ability.
