Real reason 'paranoid' Donald Trump allowed son Barron to tower over him in pic
Donald Trump’s son, Barron, towered over the former president in the family Christmas photo this year despite the former-Presidents discomfort about not being the tallest person in the room.
The extended Trump family gathered around the Christmas tree with 13 family members all joining the festivities and grinning widely in the final festive season before the presidential election next autumn - in which the disgraced former president is widely expected to run. Around the tree can be seen Donald Trump Jr, Ivanka Trump and her three children, a host of other family members, and Barron Trump towering over the presidential hopeful.
Barron Trump appears a whole head taller than his 6 feet 2 inch father in the strange photo, with many speculating online why appears so tall. Although the 17-year-old is a whopping 6 feet 5 inches tall (2.01 metres), in the photo he looks like he is much more than 3 inches beyond his father’s height.

There was something else odd about the festive family photo - Melania Trump is entirely missing from the photo on Trump’s Mar-a-Lago estate, where he is accused of stashing hundreds of confidential files taken from the White House in one of his four criminal indictments. It seemed unlikely that this was because she was behind the camera, given the multi-billionaire likely has a private photographer for these occasions.

Fox News reported that she was with her “ailing mother” for the Christmas period, with Amalija Knavs, 78, reportedly sick in hospital.
Melania has been absent from many of Trump’s hearings which he faces for the four indictments in Manhattan, Florida, and Georgia. But it isn’t clear whether she is deliberately distancing herself from her husband amid the endless legal controversy - or if she truly does have other matters to attend to.
According to Page Six, Melania is fully supportive of Trump’s bid in the 2024 presidential election and plans to increase her public appearances next year. It is widely expected to be a rerun of the Trump vs Biden faceoff in 2020, one America's most infamous elections which ended with the January 6 riot at the Capital and persistent false accusations of electoral fraud from Trump and his supporters.
