Strictly Come Dancing star James Jordan has been blocked by Jeremy Vine after making a series of heated digs.

The professional dancer took a swipe at the BBC Radio 2 host after posting one of his many cycling videos on X - formerly Twitter. Jeremy, 58, posted a clip of his bike being run over by a van back in September and shared that he informed the police about the incident. He recently gave an update to his followers, saying the driver had to attended a “Safe and Considerate Driving Course”.

Jeremy said: “I was blamed for this — a van hitting me in a cycle lane. So I took the footage to the police, and here is the outcome. Might help some Twitter-drivers understand the law better. Thanks and Happy Xmas to @metpoliceuk and all road safety units with British police who keep us safe.”

However, James quickly commented on Jeremy's video as he wrote: "Driver wasn’t prosecuted which says a lot. They are basically saying what he did was equivalent to going 34 in a 30 - and why does it ALWAYS happen to you Jeremy? Maybe it’s you that needs to go for a road proficiency course. I NEVER have any of these problems when I cycle."

The Jeremy Vine Show host took to his social media account once more where he added: "Police asked me if I was happy with the driver education course, or whether I wanted to pursue prosecution. I said a course. Now you use it to “prove” the driver didn’t do that much wrong. 1,700 people die every year on our roads and it’s not a joke. Anyway, happy new year."

While Strictly's James quipped: "So you don’t think you are being an irritant? I cycle too but it’s people like you that give cyclists a bad name. I NEVER EVER find myself in the situations you do (and on a daily basis AND on camera) Maybe it’s you buddy - just a thought. But anyway - merry Christmas."

Jeremy replied: "I was backed into by a van. In a cycle lane. And you blame me. We're done here." As the feud escalated, James took to his own account where he shared a screenshot of Jeremy's profile. It showed a message reading: "@theJeremyVine blocked you You are blocked from following @theJeremyVine and viewing @theJeremyVine's posts."

James added: "Just received a late Christmas present - love getting blocked by people that don’t like hearing the truth." It is not just Jeremy who has faced the outspoken opinions of James recently. As I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here star Fred Sirieix had a heated discussion with Nigel Farage over Brexit in the jungle, James made a brutal remark.

Fred asked the former politician: "What is the benefit of Brexit then? If you are an average person from Britain, what’s the benefit?" Farage then replied: "To know that we’re independent, we stand on our own two feet in the world." Fred then responded: "Brexit was about immigration, I remember your poster. I thought it was shameful what you did, Nigel. Shameful."

Unwilling to back down Farage added: "Sadly, sadly it was absolutely true. It was a poster showing mass young men moving illegally across borders." Fred accused him of using the image of migrants moving across borders to demonise them, leaving the British public to believe that Brexit would put an end to it all. After the episode aired, James took to X, formerly known as Twitter and wrote: "Fred is a b*****d."

James also had his say on Strictly Come Dancing winners Ellie Leach and Vito Coppola's final dance where he didn't hold back. Speaking in his column for Hello!, James said: "My heart was in my mouth because I honestly thought he was gonna drop her. I mean, how he saved it, fair play to him. It was a little bit terrible really at the end."

James said before the stunts became too much for the couple to handle, the eventual winners of the series had really impressed him. He added: "Up until that point I was thinking to myself, 'this is probably the best show dance I've ever seen in Strictly history, up until that point."
