Bride and groom's families filmed brawling over missing cheese dish at wedding

A bride and groom's family had a mass brawl reportedly over cheese missing from a dish at their wedding.

The shocking footage shows guests picking up chairs and throwing them across the venue. A man in a red shirt can be seen grabbing another male guest by the neck and tackling him to the floor in the middle of the chaos.

Meanwhile, a man in a yellow shirt throws punches at another wedding guest. Attendees in the back of the crowd watch in horror as the men launch chairs across the room. The group can be seen fighting in front of a long table full of food.

The scuffle was reportedly triggered by a lack of paneer cheese in the matar paneer dish. The curry is typically made of peas, and paneer cheese and cooked in a tomato sauce. The shocking scenes happened at the wedding in northern India on 21 December.

One local said: "World War Three will be fought for Paneer. Another joked: "Exactly why I'm non-vegetarian." Another person said: "So a good cause." "No compromise for paneer," joked another person.
