Dolly Parton has opened up about the work she's had done to her face, and what she regrets.

The 77-year-old country singer candidly admitted that if something is "bagging, sagging or dragging" she would do her best to fix it, stating that she would "tuck it, suck it or pluck it." The 9-5 singer added that this sometimes results in her doing "too much," meaning she has to wait longer to get her next treatment.

"Every now and then you’ll get a hematoma, or sometimes with fillers and Botox you can get too much and have to wait till the swelling goes down to look normal again," she recently told Saga Magazine. "It means that instead of being back at work in two weeks, it’s a month.”

Then in a previous interview with Howard Stern on his chat she, she admitted that she only does "fillers, Botox and Juvéderm," but tends to stay away from "the big stuff." She said: "I try to do just little bits at a time — I don’t do like really big stuff. I do fillers, Botox, Juvéderm.

“Only when I have to do something a little more, and even then, I try to be careful," Dolly continued. "You’ve just got to be very careful not to overdo it because you never know, anytime you go under the knife you could come out looking not good.

“It’s always a risk and every time I go in for anything I think ‘Oh Lord, please let this all work out fine,'" she told Stern. Dolly's admission comes after she revealed that she had been invited to spend time with the Princess of Wales while she was visiting the UK, but regretfully had to decline.

Dolly told Claudia Winkleman on her BBC Radio 2 show that she was forced to put business before pleasure and say no. She said: “This time, Lordy, I even got invited to have tea with Kate [Middleton], and I felt so bad.

"I couldn't even because they had all this stuff set up, but I thought that was very sweet and nice of her to invite me to tea. One of these days I'm going to be able to get to do that, wouldn't that have been great? But she wasn't going to promote my rock album so I had to say no. I hope she hears it, though."

Dolly, who has been a country superstar since 1967, added that she hopes the invite will be extended again on a future visit to the UK. She has had encounters with the Royal family before, and previously spoke highly of the Queen after performing at her Silver Jubilee in 1977.
