Writing on Instagram, Emma told her social media followers: "It’s our first Christmas Eve as a 3 and I’ve done everything I can to make sure it’s magical, wholesome and full of love. We’ve spent the day doing their favourite things; dancing, baking and spending quality time together."

She paired the post with a sweet montage of clips of herself with her two children as they got into the Christmas spirit as they built and decorated gingerbread houses whilst wearing matching festive pyjamas. Mum Emma has been flooded with support from fans on the post, as one wrote: "It’s not easy to do. You should be proud."

The post from Emma comes after reality star Gaz casually announced the news of the split on his page in October. He was interacting with fans through a Q&A session. Gaz set out his call for questions, writing: "Charging car having a coffee fire away" - with the window then open for followers to ask him any questions they liked.

One curious fan sensitively asked: "It’s personal, but are you & Emma still together? You 4 are a lovely family to follow!” Gary’s reply was nothing short of shocking as he revealed he and Emma had called it quits at the beginning of the month and spearated after two years of marriage. He wrote in reply: "Hey no we actually separated about 3 weeks ago we are still friends there is no bad blood or anything and we have worked out the best way of doing it for the kids which for me and Emma is always gunna be the most important thing." he added: "We both deserve to be happy as well as being parents."
