Ryan O'Neal buried beside his longtime love Farrah Fawcett in intimate funeral
Beloved Hollywood star Ryan O'Neal was buried this weekend next to his longtime love Farrah Fawcett during an intimate funeral service in Los Angeles.
The 82-year-old actor's headstone appears right beside his partner, whose love lasted the better part of 30 years until she sadly passed away from cancer in 2009 at the age of 62 years old. The pair will now be beside each other for eternity as they were both put to rest in the Westwood Memorial Park Cemetery in California.
The Academy Award-winning actor had an intimate funeral on Saturday morning after the actor passed away at the age of 82 years old from congestive heart failure. At the ceremony, 25 of his closest friends and family were in attendance as they honored the actor's remarkable life and said their final goodbyes. At the small funeral his ex-wife Leigh Taylor-Young, son Patrick O'Neal, and Farrah's close friend Alana Stewart were all seen gathered together as his redwood coffin was brought to its final resting place.

The pair shared an on-and-off relationship together for over three decades and shared one child together Redmond O'Neal.
During their passionate love affair Ryan told the New York Daily News: "I lost interest in nearly everything but this woman. For the first time in my life, something took precedence over myself.” And 10 years after her tragic death Ryan told People magazine "there was never a day he didn't love her."
Ryan rose to stardom in the 1960s after landing the iconic role of Rodney Harrington in the nighttime soap opera Peyton Place. The handsome star was a instant hit with fans and continued to land roles in the following years starring in a number of hit Blockbusters. Some of his most memorable performances include his characters in Love Story, Barry Lyndon, Paper Moon, What's Up Doc?, The Driver, and many more.
At first, Ryan's cause of death was unknown, but this week his death certificate was obtained revealing that he died from "congestive heart failure." This was a result of suffering from cardiomyopathy for years which is a disease of the heart muscle that makes it harder for the heart to pump blood.
