What time is Anthony Joshua fight tonight? UK start time for Otto Wallin fight

Anthony Joshua looks to make it three wins out of three this year when he fights Otto Wallin in the hopes of setting up a Deontay Wilder clash.

A third outing this year looked unlikely for 'AJ' following his wins against Jermaine Franklin in April and Robert Helenius in August, but he returns at the 'Day of Reckoning' event to fight Wallin. The Swede is unbeaten in his last six fights with the only defeat of his career coming in 2019 to Joshua's domestic rival Tyson Fury.

The chief support of tonight's blockbuster event will see Wilder back in the ring for the first time in 14-months as he fights Joseph Parker. Dmitry Bivol defends his world title against Lyndon Arthur whilst Daniel Dubois also fights disgraced drug cheat Jarrell Miller, so here's all you need to know about tonight's fights...

Fight card and undercard

Anthony Joshua vs Otto Wallin

There is no margin for error from Anthony Joshua tonight; he must win or face the end of his glorious career as we know it. A date with Deontay Wilder is waiting in the wings but Otto Wallin has nothing to lose and will pose problems early. Expect Joshua to come through though, either on points or via a late stoppage.

Deontay Wilder vs Joseph Parker

An intriguing clash which, as ever with Deontay Wilder, hinges on him landing that big right hand and putting Joseph Parker to sleep. The Kiwi has endured a mixed few years since losing his world title to Anthony Joshua but knows Wilder can be out-boxed. Whether he can do that for 12 rounds remains to be seen.

Dmitry Bivol vs Lyndon Arthur

Dmitry Bivol has been out of the ring for over a year but should face few problems against Lyndon Arthur who is likely to be out of his depth. The Brit has only lost once, in his rematch with Anthony Yarde, but is levels below Bivol. Not known for his knockout power, the world champion may have to settle for a lop-sided points win, however.

Daniel Dubois vs Jarrell Miller

One of the most interesting fights on the card and so much hinges on whether Jarrell Miller is in any sort of shape. He hasn't looked convincing since returning from his drugs ban and Daniel Dubois could overpower him. But if Miller is anywhere near his best, his speed and movement could cause all sorts of trouble for the Brit.

Jai Opetaia vs Ellis Zorro

Jai Opetaia opted to give up his world title in order to bank a huge cheque from Saudi Arabia and he looks set to showcase why he is widely considered to be the best cruiserweight in the world. Ellis Zorro is unbeaten and may carry confidence as a result, but he is up against it here.

Arslanbek Makhmudov vs Agit Kabayel

There are few more daunting heavyweights than Arslanbek Makhmudov right now but he needs to get a move on if he is to get himself in a position to fight for a world title - no champion will fight him voluntarily. Agit Kabayel may be undefeated but he his record is incredibly padded and he will do well to hear the final bell.

Frank Sanchez vs Junior Fa

Frank Sanchez can showcase his skills against Junior Fa who is rebounding from a couple of damaging defeats. Cuban Sanchez is rightly the odds-on favourite and will be looking to stop his New Zealand rival.

Filip Hrgovic vs Mark De Mori

A completely pointless fight as Filip Hrgovic awaits his shot at the IBF title for which he seems to have been the mandatory for 10 years. Mark De Mori was flattened by a returning David Haye seven years ago and hasn't improved since.

Odds

Joshua - 1/4

Wallin - 3/1

Draw - 20/1

Anthony Joshua : “I'm looking to do a good job. What more can I say? I will do a good job. I'm here to fight, I'm not here to party and get caught up in the glitz and glamour. I want to fight. I want to perform well. I put that pressure on myself. Of course I'm tense because I want to perform. I want to win. I've got that urge to win. I want to hurt my opponent as well. Pure focus on Saturday.

"That's where my heart and soul, every cell in my body is fully focused towards Otto Wallin and doing what I know I can do. This is my third fight in Saudi Arabia and it’s a big vision in Saudi Arabia. The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia welcome us all here. Much appreciated. I know how much they put in to putting these shows on. I've never seen anything like this in my whole life. The last man standing will be on this table in the future for sure. The vision is big for sure."

Otto Wallin : “Of course I'm nervous, it's a big fight, a big opportunity, but i'm ready for it. I've worked very hard to be here and now it's time to enjoy the moment and win the fight and move on. People talking about upsets, I'm going to win the fight and you shouldn't call it an upset. It's not really an upset, it's just natural. This is my time so I'm ready for it. I'm just happy to be here. I'm just trying to be myself.

"People say I talk a lot now but I get asked questions and I just answer them how I feel. I'm not trying to make anything up, it's just the truth. If people like it then fine, if they don't then that's okay too. I'm a tricky southpaw, I'm a good fighter. It's kind of a short notice to this fight. Also, he's got a new trainer, so I think that can be tricky. He's used to be a happy guy but from what I see now he seems very stiff and tense. Maybe he's fed up of all of this stuff."
